Yea that series has been insane as a hockey fan love it
I really hate being a Sharks fan. It has been torturous since the lockout ended. I ought to just give them up and finally become an Avs fan. I've already been out here in Colorado for 7 years.

Coming from someone living in Colorado, it's really hard to be an Avs fan too. Not that that's saying much considering my two favorite teams (Vancouver and Red Wings) are about to be knocked out of the playoffs. I don't even know what happened or how the Canucks managed to drop so many games to the Kings.

The difference is that San Jose has chronically underachieved, which is just too damned frustrating. I honestly preferred the spunky, mediocre team of the early 2000s that was young and overachieved by playing their asses off. It's not like the results were much different.

EDIT: Despres has told the media he is playing. So either Strait or Martin is out. So happy that he is in.
Martin's out.
Where did you get that info? Can't check Twitter at work
EDIT: NVM, Saw it on TPB.
Also saw that Grossman is out for the Flyers. Figured that would be the case when he only got 8 mins of ice time on Wednesday. Pretty big, considering he was the match up for the Malkin line.

Can't wait for the Nucks to get eliminated and for my Bruins to advance so we don't have to face them again. Interesting to note the two poll leaders for E and W are both looking to go out in the first round. Canadians would be much better predictors of playoff hockey if they stopped being so bias in hyping their teams, but then there'd be no team pride so I guess there's no fixing it.
Hoping the Bs vs Caps goes 7, I love playoff hockey.

Almost every "expert" put the Canucks and Penguins in the finals, but now that they have a high chance at being wrong the playoffs are even more exciting now.

Yeah hopefully, the games have been tooth and nail, hopefully the Wings who haven't done much start producing a few goals and points each game. DET can do it, but NSH is also very good this year.

Bullshit, had the Bruins in the finals ever since they hadn't lost anyone major to trades or injuries.

ummm no they didn't Bruce Boudreau picked LA to take out the Canucks in round 1. so did Melrose.
Luongo ain't much better than average, but because of his contract and "resume" they had to start him at the beginning of the series.
Flyer PP is over 65% in the series now I think. Pittsburg has got to reinvent the wheel with there PK. In any other series if you ran at 65% on the PP you would already be in round two. Pittsburg has got to either figure out the Flyer PP or better yet, don't take penalties.

Hello, my name is Nathan Horton. Incidentally, I've only seen one analyst predict Boston to make the finals.
