Rangers with another dominating win. They've now got the most points % of games played and that's even with a ho hum PP. Them and Boston are built almost identically: grind it out teams with awesome D and great goalies. And Rangers have been decimated by injuries on the blue line all season.

Feels so weird that they're one of, if not the best team right now

I want team Chara, as the only representative from the Caps is on that team, but Chara let Alfredsson get both Sedins. Team Alfredsson seems to have the speed which is what will make the difference in a game that will not be taken that seriously by the players. Tbh I do not care about Allstar game, even before Ovi decided not to go. Will watch highlights of the skills but that is about it.

Think Chara's team has more skill. He took in my mind the better players as he was less 'partisan' in his early picks (getting Dats and Malkin). Also he took Iggy which was awesome

Chara got the forwards and Timmy.

Alfie got the better pairing of goalies though.

As for the D? Almost even. Slight edge to Alfie because they have should have more offensive punch.

At the end of the day the All-Star game was never about defense and their is no stipulations, so I would go with team Chara.

Should be a fun restart to the season. The games before and following the all-star break usually make or break teams as they can create momentum. Hoping for the Leafs to end the Pens win streak tonight.

Crosby is still out (again) and Ovechkin hasn't been his old self for the past ... year and a half or so.

Best player could be one of a few, off the top of my head Datsyuk, Malkin, Giroux, Toews? maybe more I'm missing.

I'd say Malkin as of late.
