Sure, Davis isn't the same player we saw during his time in GSW & Hornets, but he still knows how to play ball. In fact, stats-wise he did better than Mo Williams in all categories except for PPG, which makes sense as Davis has become a selective scorer (at least for LAC, having Gordon & Griffin in the mix). But like I said, I might be biased as I am (and will always be) a huge fan of Baron.. and you can't deny the lift the Clippers got when he came back from injury (after LAC started the season with 1-19 IIRC) I don't understand how anyone would ever want Mo Williams. Ever. He brings nothing to the table that a pointguard needs to have. His decisions are just bad, he is a streaky long-range shooter, his defense is horrible and he can't get to the basket. His courtvision is bad and he's a ballhog. How is that a PG a young team needs? He's not a veteran who can teach anyone, he does not make his teammates better, he can not control a game or run plays. His streaky and unreliable scoring is not needed at all. They got a great scoring guard with EG. All they need is a veteran PG who can run the right plays. I really can't stand seeing him shoot 2-17 with 7 TOs and <4 Assists every other game and literally sabotage the Clippers from within. They can't even get rid of him for many years and they threw in a first-round pick. That's so unbelievably bad. I can't even describe in words how bad it is. Sorry for this offtopic rant :D

Sorry for this offtopic rant :D Mo Williams is only 28 years old and is a career 38% shooter from three. His contract is far more palatable than Baron Davis's - who probably has the second worst contract in basketball, the draft pick was the price to get rid of that contract. You have to be realistic about what the Clippers had to work with - if you don't want to surrender Aminu, Bledsoe or Jordan, than you have to part with a 1st round pick. I'll admit, I wish the pick was top 3 protected but that just shows you how awful the Davis contract was considered.

Admittedly.... Dwight Howard could not perform like he normally does. But FINALLY the Magic proved they're not always all about D12. LET'S GO GAMES 6, 7!!! Guys, if it's not too much trouble, I would greatly appreciate it if you can head over to pg 12 and answer my polls regarding the playoffs. TL answers are EXTREMEMLY vital to me. Ty in advance ![]()

He missed a couple open threes, which was totally un-Kobe. Usually he takes bad shots and puts up a better effort than anyone else, after the ankle he took good shots and just couldn't execute.

Portland v Dallas should be a classic in a couple of days time. I suspect the Spurs will take a double-digit win vs the Grizz. Game 6 in that series will be the decisive one. OKC and Miami will wrap things up in moderately easy fashion too. Can't wait for the second round. No more mismatches!
