There are almost no stats that distingush the gear and makes the gear choices more then something for the looks. Never played any Elder Scrolls games before so i dont know if im way to influenced from D2 and WoW. I hope some mod or something will fix this! At first, it is more esthetics until you start watching your armor rating and damage to kill ennemies faster (if you are fighting in melee). If you are a caster, you will need magicka, reduced cost and magicka regen to be on items. Some perks use complete sets for extra bonuses and you can enchant your armor/items/weapons with special bonuses. Depending how high you go on the perk tree of enchanting, you can apply 2 different enchantments on a single item at a time. My main complaint is that you can only equip a single ring (seems like an error) and there is no pants slot (the chest covers the whole body).

The fact that you have to install Skyrim over Steam even if you have bought it as a DVD is also pretty retarded, isnt it?

Hahaha, I just entered the Pelagius wing in the Blue Palace in Solitude and talked to Sheogorath and this part is fucking amazing, I love Bethesda for this quest, it's incredible. I've chuckled incessantly through two of the wings and I'm starting on the third, I absolutely recommend this quest.

Wityh perks, you can get %125 more armor from a matching heavy armor armor set. With Orcish that you improve on the workbench, you can easily reach 400+ pprovided you picked up smithing.

Some of you played too many on rails games, this game is more enjoyable of you roleplay your avatar instead of abusing some skill up tricks and then finish the mainquest in 10 hours.

The dragons have 3 different kinds + named ones. You did forget the Draugr which are the zombie like monsters, the liches and the ghosts. The vampires are also back and there are some lycanthropes too. Furthermore, there are dwarven ruins with mechanical monsters, blind goblins now called falmers and some weird creatures with assthma (sounds like it when theyre near you) which are called Hargraven. You will also meet the forsworn in your adventures (group of fanatics) as well as the return of the atronochs and such. The daedras are back as well. You will see them in time... Don't forget Spriggens, Spiders, Sprites, and Spirits. There's also Atronachs, even if they are summoned. And we can't leave out necromancers and other mages. Oh, and city guards. Also, I've found a (slow) way to get infinite money: camp the archery butts in the Thieves Guild. Steel Arrows all day erryday

I made my first character a battlemage who essentially just did dungeon diving, some companion quests, and he still got to level 21. Rerolled a 2h heavy armor Nord who will be finishing the companion line, doing the main quest, and fighting for the stormcloaks. Next I'll do a Khajiit Thief who doesn't give a shit about dragons (for the most part, shouts are still cool), is in the Thieves Guild and DB, and sides with the Empire because that's where the money's at.

You can fix it by setting the audio quality to 16 bit, 41K Hz. 15# Crash To Desktop Fix Go to Start > Control Panel > Sound. In the Playback tab, right-click on Speakers (or whatever has a green tick next to it), then click Properties. In the advanced tab on this new window, select 24 bit, 44100Hz (Studio Quality) in the drop down menu. If you have i can only suggest attempting to hunt out skyrim files and folders and deleting them all. (Dont forget your documents etc) and re-installing, there is a way to force install from your disk, dont worry about a download. ![]() Also reinstalling steam / video drivers could help. EDIT: Installing from disc through steam guide

Master locks are not even close to impossible. I hardly even break 1 lockpick picking non-Master locks and even on Master locks I can do it in 2-5 lockpicks very comfortably. You can live without the Nightingale perks too but an unbreakable lockpick is not only attainable through perks but not necessary a well.

First time, it took me about 5 1/2 hours, I installed it, it was working. Then I realized I installed it on my new SSD which was already pretty packed, so I decided so erase everything, delete the whole steam folder, download steam again. Then, I had to download Skyrim again (or Im not not even sure if it wasnt just a new patch), which took about 7 damn hours (I have relocated somewhere else where I have slightly slower internet). When, finally, I had downloaded it a second time, I got to the main menu in the game, then it jumped back to steam. I tried this a few times and it always jumped back to steam. AND NOW, it wants to download this whole shit again. I dont know what Ive done wrong or what exactly the problem is. Does anyone have an idea? The steam support seems totally retarded, nothing where I could mail to personally and from the specific areas of support, none of them seems to fit my problem. Please guys, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Have you tried changing your windows sound? Go to control panel>sound>right click on the speaker icon> advanced> change sound to 24/16 bit -44100 Hz.

Coupled with the fact that Skyrim likes to quit out to desktop at random save points, I don't think I have ever raged more in a game than this one. Not even Starcraft 2. And yes I've tried all the troubleshooting with the crashes.

Yeah, forgot about the perk. I'm only like level 11 or something, so I'm not really deep in any particular perk tree atm, so I don't know them all yet. The Nightingale powers are still pretty lackluster though IMO. I just took the Stealth one because the others seemed pretty bad
