Charles Oakley is such a badass. I don't think there's anyone in the NBA right now who can match him in toughness.
Eva longoria and Tony parker is getting a divorce...
Longoria asked the court to require each side pay its own attorney fees. She also wants to receive spousal support from Parker but not pay any to him.
how the hell does spousal support work when both parties are making are making a gajillion dollars a year? I really hope she doesn't get shit.

Russell Westbrook for mvp
|
Oden for Walton V2 (or V3 if you include his son).

Also, the Heat game tonight was just brutal. Suns obviously didn't have it so the outcome isn't that shocking, but seeing all the ways the Heat have to break their slumps is. With Wade and Bosh on the bench, the Heat were still a top 3 team in the East (basically the Cavs.)

Oden's having season ending surgery to repair his knee again....
I can't help but feel that oden is going to be a definite bust. He's 22 and he already has 3-4 major knee surgeries under his belt.

this whole season is FML.... oden is out whole season, roy has knee problems
rockets are a crappy 3-79... Plz fast foward to next season already.

The other scary thing was their was a point in time where Wade was on the floor alone (I think). Phoenix had their chance and they basically couldn't even take advantage of it. It's like no matter which one of Wade or Lebron is on the floor alone it becomes "take over with Chris Bosh as my #1 option!".
Even scarier was that as Chris Bosh was going off, Wade and Lebron STILL seemed to have their teeth deep in the game without scoring. Very scary stuff.

Ugh i hate it when my mavs lose, especially when they had such a good chance to win.. only down 2 with 6.2 seconds left. but alas, Dirk got the ball stripped.

poor trail blazers, but they should have seen this coming to SOME extent at least

tdot ... screwface capital

Just looked at Hollinger's rankings again and it made me sick to my stomach. He really needs a new formula, or at least stop putting so much emphasis on Scoring Margin.
No way at all the Heat are better than NOH, Boston and LA. This is getting ridiculous.

tell me about it, I pretty much thought we've won the game when kidd gets to that inbound
and LOL to oden and anyone who thought the blazers would be different than last season

As a Trailblazers fan, I need a hug. It's not fair for both Roy and Oden to have their careers go this way. A couple of years ago, I thought we might win a championship, or at least a conference title. That doesn't seem possible now.

They might honestly be better with either Lebron or Wade on the floor, not both. They don't seem to be very good playing off the ball. Or at the very least, take turns doing their 1 on 1 thing.
And yeah, Hollinger's formula sucks. Scoring margin is actually a pretty decent predictor but the difference between a 1 point win and a 10 point win is way larger than the difference between a 20 point win and a 30 point win. His formula overrates teams that run up the score, especially against the crappiest teams in the league.

Especially when Boston has beaten them twice.

So even Phil Jackson and Kobe said the Pistons don't play very hard anymore. :/
Watching this team is pretty painful, and not because of the losing. At least when the Pistons were only scoring 90 a game, they had a methodical offense that could reliably get good shots, even if it took the entire clock. Now it's just a jump shooting team that takes tons of bad shots, and is somehow making more than it should.

Watching the Pistons just isn't the same anymore. It looks like they might have a while in the lottery.

Maybe we can get some more washed-up stars like Tracy MacGrady too!
