If at all possible would be a good idea, just not sure how that would go with the new battle.net and all. there are always lots of updates as well and consoles generally dont have frequent updates.

Doubt that'll be least popular, I'd actually think most popular because people associate Witch Doctor w/ Necromancer, which in some sorts is kind of a good parallel comparison, what with the pets and spreading disease/poisons and all. I'd think Monk would probably be least popular imo.

I think it'll be a tossup between the two.

I didnt like Monk at first but then I saw some gameplay videos and it looked just so...fun! Smashing monsters with fist, making them explode, teleporting between them and punching them...
I will play Demon Hunter tho

baba and soso will be the most played classes for sure.

The problem is that people are scared. Historically, almost always when a game was released on Pcs and consoles, it was actually made for the consoles and then haphazardly ported to the PC to grab some extra cash with low effort. So, the fear that the same will happen to D3 is actually not absurd, and it would be a shame. Sure, if they make a good PC game, without even thinking of consoles, and then, when it is done, start thinking about porting it to the consoles, there is no problem with that. But probably the PC-version will already have some stuff in it so that it can work in consoles later.

I still have faith in Blizzard not to fuck it up in order to make it work on consoles. Look at Torchlight for example, it was pretty good budget ARPG for PC and got ported to xboxb360 later and it worked fine as far as I know.

I liked currency the way it was in LoD.
Idk, it was nice having to actually know what stuff was worth, and those people with legit high runes were like gods.
of course... I don't believe I ever had any.. my cousin always warned me to accept his trades. such fond memories....

i fear the release of d3 together with dota 2 will really hurt the already small bloodline champions community, and therefore i actually dont want d3 to come at all lol. i really enjoyed playing d2 alot though and im pretty sure diablo 3 pve is going to be absolutely sick..

i doubt dota 2 is gonna affect blc but diablo 3 is definitely a direct competitor lol

I went with Witch Doctor; I dig the whole jungle voodoo vibe. Although I plan on trying all the classes at least for a little bit to start. I'll stick with whichever one I enjoy the most. Also might depend on what my friends end up playing. If one of the people I plan on playing with on a regular basis picks the same class as me, I might pick another.

I voted Witch Doctor, but personally, I like to play each class for a little while until I feel the urge to try another, until I've tried them all, then I usually choose one to play.

I voted Wizard, but keeblur summed up my thoughts pretty well
|
I'll probably start with a Demon hunter or Wizard.

I used to almost exclusively go for ranged characters in rpgs, but playing melee in wow for ages kind of turned me away from that. Probably gonna go for the monk, just seems like it could be tons of fun with the semi combopoint sort of style.

I will have all, but DH is I think coolest of all classes.

Wizards get to drop meteors from the sky. Duh!

I voted barbarian. This was my first char in D2 as well. I can't wait to play one in D3.
