Nobody knows my new password, and it's much much different than my old one. Any thoughts? I believe if you have EVER purchased a crafting mat in AH before, EVERY single one of them appears, regardless of buyout or bid. I got scared for a moment when I logged in to see half a page of auction mats when I realized that the vast majority of them I purchased in that amount the few days after release when it was still working. Working as intended(probably not), although it probably scares the hell out of people who only bought stuff like once or twice. That's useful to know, thanks  That being said, I've never bought any gems or crafting materials from the AH, and the last time I bought an item was about a week ago (and I've checked the AH many times since then to update my sold items and sell others, so I wouldn't have missed this). I've never even sold gems or crafting materials via the AH before. I've never had any interaction with gems or crafting materials via the AH (although as a barbarian, I do use rubies a lot).
Some of the items on mine are from after the auction house crashed, but before they took it down officially. I never actually received or lost gold for any of the items in question, but they are appearing on that list now.

hmm so im wondering how me and my brother can play together, I have a level 36 wizard already and he is just starting (level 3).
I could level with him on a new char, but he will out level my new character because i'de be playing 2 characters overall >.< ..can you play together if there is a large level gap? if so how does experience/ power get shared

Exp does not get shared and enemies do not scale with level. You gain full exp for everything equal or below your level, but reduced exp for everything above your level (which prevents power leveling). If you cannot both work on the one character equally, the next best thing is to get to 60 and play together then. My very first character got level 60 under 40 hours playing normally. If you exploit quests and stuff, under 8 hours.

A bold bet to sell essences now since if your predictions are correct, when you buy essences at their cheaper price later you will be making 35-135 gold after blizzard tax. Not a lot of margin of error.

Yep, you can run through normal difficulty for him, probably won't be as fun though. He'll need to be lvl 25 to unlock nightmare.

I went to check the item by clicking on it and it crashed my client.

A new item spoof/hack/glitch is out where you can make and edit items to make them look pimped out. For an example, check the What is my item worth? thread and you will see a 2H item that has 3.5k dps. That is impossible. In addition, people are creating items, like Diablos Claw (in magenta text) that CRASHES your client and/or your PC when clicked on. Watch out for these scams when you are lurking around on the general/trade chat.

After leveling my DH to 60 and starting inferno, I spent about 400k gearing him, along with 4 pieces from my monk worth ~10 mil. Facerolling act 1 inferno so incredibly hard. 15k health and 100-200 resist all doesn't matter when you do 35k(62 with SS) damage and 1-2shot everything. Just need to micro hard and everything just dies.

This seems similar to WoW, where it was possible to link items via their unique identifier. If an item had never dropped on the server you were on, the item details werent cached and clicking the item-link would disconnect you. It's a bit of a sloppy implementation. Not sure if WoW still has this 'feature', but it doesn't surprise me that a similar issue popped up in D3.
