I just started Inferno a little while ago and based on the stuff I read, especially as a Monk, I fully expected to hate the gameplay.

Turns out I think it's pretty ridiculously fun! Of course theres the occasional molten/vortex/fast/plague Scavenger elites that I absolutely can't beat, but for the most part I find the challenge to be pretty refreshing and the nephalems valor buff to be pretty satisfying.

Am I just weird, do I need to wait until act 2 before I start to rage, or were the guys complaining just that much more vocal?

Inferno Act 1 is super easy.

edit: Well not super easy, but easy compared to the later acts, and dying is pretty rare, at least in my opinion.

I felt the exact same way in Act 1 Inferno - it was hard but damn it was fun. Act 2 elites (and normal mobs lol) are just hard/impossible.

Yup act 2 will make you cry, my barb can clear anything in act 1 no problem but gets owned by the starting mobs in act 2.

Act 1 Inferno is a logical bump from Act 4 Hell. Its right alongside the trendline.

HAHA I only just noticed what he was on about. The first time I read his post I was carefully going through the stats on the weapons thinking 'wtf could he be on about? Maybe because the first one is a pretty decent 1h'r while the second is a mehish 2hr?'

Dude, I just invested 600k on in game vendor amulets, bought around 100 of them, for around 6k a piece. But I'm selling them on the AH for 12k-13k a piece (they sell pretty fast, I clear 10 amulets every 2-3 hours) It's a crappy lvl 33 amulet too. Offers only 126 dex, and 59 vitality. But I guess there's still a lot of people buying items for their level 30's - 40's. working out wonders for me.

I think there are AH bots in this game now.I missed two very good underpriced items in 1 minutes in a row.I clicked them very fast but still they instantly disappeared.This is starting to happen too often now.Whenever I see a slightly underpriced item it s gone in seconds...

Considering flipping is the fastest way to make money this shouldn't surprise you. No they aren't bots...there are a thousand other people just like you looking for underpriced items too.

Ok, if there is ANY gripe i have with this game, it's the fact that you can't lock your spellbar. It's only happened liek 3 times to me, but it's ridiculously frustrating losing 5 stacks of valor because you accidentally move a spell while kiting. I really can't understand how blizzard looked over that little problem. Hell, even SC2 has an option to lock you away from pressing the command groups...

Turn off elective mode after you've set all your spells.

I did it once, and was pretty pissed. Go to options and turn off elective mode. If you need to change your skills, then you have to turn it back on though.
