good writeup explaining all of the problems with melee class right now in inferno. As a barb, I don't feel like spending 50-75mill+ improving my build to clear acts 3&4. Going to start DH tomorrow and try barb again in a few months. | ||

I played alongside a barb in the ends of act 2, he actually had very nice gear, over 700 resist all, but he couldn't tank elites/rares for more than a few seconds. i can only imagine how he'd get pounded into the ground if it was 4 players instead of 2. Blizzard really need to do something about mob damage scaling up so much in coop games. | ||

I wouldn't be surprised if he did a lot better solo. 1 > 3 > 4 > 2 | ||

It seems people treat their Monk/Barb to basically be a more durable Templar. | ||

preview into 1.03. discuss EDIT: Personally, not changing a thing about class balance was stupid, but we will see how the lowered difficulty of act 2, 3 and 4 will factor into that | ||

To put it in perspective the current best farming in game requires a less than 1page text script that takes you about 5-6mins to write. A combat bot that had to actively search for elite packs and efficiently kill them would be massive and take botter groups weeks to write and weeks to test/debug and still probably wouldn't be equal to real players. | ||
