Like people were saying, at least we've had some time to warm up to newer members of the SH (Brook and to a lesser extent Franky/Robin). If they added a new SH now they'd be around for less than half of the story. | ||

So we need to wait for Luffy's bounty to rise above what it currently is (will probably happen at the end of the arc when another warlord gets trashed), then Jimbei can join. Since bounty ~ power. | ||

Well with the CP0 and Blind admiral guy around, it seems more likely that this arc will revolve around the mera mera no mi fruit and perhaps culminate in a big fight between luffy and burgess. Factory might go down, it might not, but as long as DD gets Ceasar Clown back he is fine. Im thinking this arc will be the Straw Hats "New World Reality check" Where they kinda lose or get overwhelmed and forced to retreat, and the next arc tackles Kaido+Doflamingo (perhaps to get revenge, stop them before CC can create another SAD+SMILE factory) | ||

I can't see Luffy doing anything else with it with possible exception to allowing Zoro's Sword to consume it and that is pushing it. The fact that we have another "Princess" arc and the one difference of this vs Alabasta is that Rebecca has nothing to stay for. It is "Possible" that Burgess might get it as a means to provoke Luffy into openly going after the Blackbeard pirates, but I think that is a little unnecessary and doubt Oda would use such an obvious plot line. | ||
