Yeah I thought so too, what a bad choice. I also do wonder what she has in mind for the dragons, I'm certain it doesn't involve her leaving it there and the trader is not stupid enough to let it fly away.
i'm not sure having the dragon fly away is in her plans until the trader is dead. there are two more dragons.

Very good episodes with a lot of good talking points. Jamie and the dragons deserved the attention, but am I the only one sad we say goodbye to Hot Pie?!?
"My brother's no king. I'm not Stark of Winterhell." - I was rolling.

Despite everything that's happened this season, that bugged me the most for some reason She isn't giving up one of her dragons. Think about it for a second, she has something else planned. No way she is dumb enough to just give up a dragon like that. It seems out of character for her to be cunning or to cheat someone for personal gain. Is it out of character for her to punish a slaver? Also, part of her character is that she doesn't believe in slavery. She could justify it in such that she was liberating the slaves, not cheating someone out of their property.

Those are good points, but ultimately it comes down to 1 thing only. Does the author want us to think that Robb is a good general? So far that seems like their goal.

"My brother's no king. I'm not Stark of Winterhell." - I was rolling. I'm just glad he got a happy ending. Characters usually make their departure from this show because they died. Not Hot Pie, he gets to bake food at a landmark inn. Beats Castle Black and Flea Bottom by far.
He would've made a good steward for the Night's Watch, though.

Too many fat tagalong characters already. Seriously, watching Sam fuck up over and over is frustrating enough and I don't find that part too comical (no offense to fat people). In fact, I'm surprised the lord commander cares about Sam at all. My perception of the Night's Watch at first was that they were really gritty and didn't care about who died, especially the people on the more useless end.

Hand chopping man played that ending scene perfectly. Not sure what his name is in the show, but it was greaaaaat!

You mean "2"... And now "1"?
Yeah, they go WAY overboard here... ... But it would be kinda "refreshing" to show an overweight person not just being a burden to all others...

Agreed, but Sam is important to the Lord Commander because he's one of the few in Night's Watch able to read, write and handle ravens. Not to mention he'd be a warm snuggle in the cold, jk.

Well, I mean the thing itself is really fucking cliche, and having 2 in one show? Yeah..

Just watched all 3 season 3 episodes today. Here's some of my thoughts + Show Spoiler +sam is starting to piss me off no offense to anyone that likes him Pretty excited for the crippled stark kid(Brendan? Don't remember his name) cuz he's kinda a prophet/warg/not useless now Daenarys definitely has some tricks up her sleeves so I'm eagerly waiting to see what happens

Yeah, don't read that if you haven't read the books. It's fine to compare events that already happened in the show, but the writer has obviously read the books to make those comparisons and then blithely adds what Robb should "probably" do at the end. There's no probability to it. You've read the books, you know exactly what he does, and therefore you can't make "predictions" on a supposedly spoiler-free article.

There are Varys and the old king and the one lord in Quarth. In royal or administrative positions fat people are just as useful as others. But in the field heavily overweight people will always be somewhat of a burden.

It'll be interesting to see how the series continues to juggle between multiple pockets of characters, particularly as new characters continue to be introduced. This season, we've already been introduced to Mance Rayder and his Wildlings, the Blackfish and Brendan Tully at Riverrun, Jojen and Meera when they meet up with Bran, the slave translator, the old Tyrel woman, the Brotherhood, the guys that captured Jamie and Brienne, and that guy with Theon. Even if they don't all stick around, that's still a ton of new characters in only three episodes, plus all of the previous characters.
My concern is that episodes will alternate between character groups, focusing on A and B while ignoring X, Y and Z completely. That's already begun to happen, with the Khaleesi completely absent from Episode 2 and Joffrey/Margery/Sansa missing in Episode 3. I recognize the difficulty in keeping each plot line alive in every episode, but it makes me sad when you can tell by the "Last time on Game of Thrones" recap that your favorite character(s) won't be making an appearance.

Also I assume you're talking about 0/2 as in the fight with Ned Stark and then Brienne, though to be fair his hands were bound the second time. Not like it's really a fair fight when you've been a starved and physically stressed prisoner. Also he didn't lose against Ned, their fight got cut short. I think Robb is fucked. He seems to be pissing off more people than he's gonna be able to handle. I also forgot how Theon got into that situation of his. I feel completely lost in that part of the story arc and I should probably go rewatch season 2. I remember Bran and Rickon escape...and then I don't remember exactly. Theon gets betrayed? You are not supposed to know what is going in Theon storyline yet, but they are dropping hints. I assumed he was being held by Robbs bannerman because Robb said that if they turned Theon in they could leave and when they tortured Theon they kept asking him why he attacked Winterfell. Im not sure if Robb is aware that Theon is being held hostage tho.
But the guy who helped Theon: First he told him that he's acting at the behalf of Theons sister. But the sister never showed up. Instead the same guy rescued Theon again. And while helping him up he sais: "Winter is coming" iirc. This is the Starks' slogan. Doesn't this mean the anonymous gentleman is at least associated to the Starks? But why would any Stark help Theon (who officially killed Bran and Rickon)? I'm confused...

Agreed, Sam is being such a little bitch and its annoying haha, excuse my language.
I thought Daenarys selling off one of her dragons was really shocking. I mean, its a dragon...hopefully it pays off in the end.

The chair scene was great as it showed much about the characters and conflicts without a single word. Very elegant storytelling.
Littlefinger pushing to the front of the line is within the boundaries of normal, acceptable behavior. He's ambitious and wants the seat next to Tywin, so he takes it with a slight use of elbow. It's effective at trumping a surprised Varys, yet lacking finesse. Varys and Pycelle just take the next two seats without much ado, revealing them as filler material inferior to the others. Cersei goes out of her way to sit next to Tywin, thus particularly sucking up to him, and also asserting dominance over Littlefinger, Varys and Pycelle. She was too slow at first to get a good seat, so she thinks outside the box to make it very clear that she is of higher status than them. What Tyrion does may be viewed as childish, but that makes it all the more "in your face". He drags the chair as slowly and loudly as he can to annoy everyone, and places it at the other head of the table, a place reserved for the person of the highest status, in this case (at least) equal status to Tywin. It's also the most distant position from his father. This open affront is both an expression of personal father-son conflict and a challenge for the leading position.

Why the hate for Sam That sweet cuddly teddy bear. I hope he escapes with that girl and her baby.
And there is something about him or why wouldn't that white walker kill him.
Although I was thinking, it could be not about him but what he recently did. He switched from the new gods to the olds and took his ranger vow at their shrine. Only Jon Snow and he did from all the new recruits. Didn't the incest guy say he survived because he prayed to the proper gods? Or did he mean the white walkers with that and his baby offers.
