Hodor 4tw!
I mean, he'd at least do a better job than Joffrey

I still dont understand what Robb is fighting for. If he just declared independence then what would the Lannisters do, invade the North? Robb could just in his mom's peoples land and fend off one attack after another and be free. He obviously recognizes that he wont have his revenge on the Lannisters in terms of killing Joffrey but he could finish what his dad and Robert Baratheon started and end the myth that the seven kingdoms are ruled as a unified state.

So today I learned a new word which I would probably never see again in my life - "unbesmirched". Nice.

The point is revenge for killing his father AND based on his knowledge the holding his sisters hostage/prisoners.

They kind of have his sisters. (or so he thinks they have Arya)

They kind of have his sisters. (or so he thinks they have Arya) and they will never give them back to him because they arent stupid. They killed his dad and his men. So if Robb wins the war, the Lannisters logically expect that Robb will kill them all. So they will keep fighting, but in a way where they just sit back and let Robb waste his strength in a foreign country. Whereas if Robb questions the whole reason for the crown's existence then Joffrey has no choice but to come out and fight him. Otherwise he is the King of 2.5 kingdoms, not 7.

Haha that scene when pod gets back from the whorehouse. The needs to be a buddy movie with bronn, tyrion and pod. Id watch the shit out of that movie.

god damn game of thrones is dangerous to watch on a plane, i was worried about nude scene, so when the little finger whore house came up i started skipping...skipped right to the part where they were about to have a threesome lol...fail.

Assuming you guys got the same release I did; what happened was not a troll, but a case where the audio got desynced from the video.
The song *is* supposed to play over the ending credits after all. The full (correct) ending is up on youtube if you guys want to see what how it's supposed to play.

ah ok. i ended up just restreaming the last minute to double check...kind of weird that it happened, especially over such an intense scene

Ya, the timing is suspicious and none of the other episodes have used a 4th Wall breaking end song before.
But the official word is it was an honest mistake =p.

Anyone else really bothered by the fact that Daenerys gave up one of her dragons? Despite everything that's happened this season, that bugged me the most for some reason

Also I assume you're talking about 0/2 as in the fight with Ned Stark and then Brienne, though to be fair his hands were bound the second time. Not like it's really a fair fight when you've been a starved and physically stressed prisoner. Also he didn't lose against Ned, their fight got cut short. I think Robb is fucked. He seems to be pissing off more people than he's gonna be able to handle. I also forgot how Theon got into that situation of his. I feel completely lost in that part of the story arc and I should probably go rewatch season 2. I remember Bran and Rickon escape...and then I don't remember exactly. Theon gets betrayed? You are not supposed to know what is going in Theon storyline yet, but they are dropping hints.
I assumed he was being held by Robbs bannerman because Robb said that if they turned Theon in they could leave and when they tortured Theon they kept asking him why he attacked Winterfell. Im not sure if Robb is aware that Theon is being held hostage tho.

She isn't giving up one of her dragons. Think about it for a second, she has something else planned. No way she is dumb enough to just give up a dragon like that.
|
I hope its not something as dumb as "Here take my dragon." *hands over dragon, slaver hands over army, dragon burns slaver to death, army captures the city* because wouldnt you, as a slaver, make sure that when you hand over an army that has absolute and blind obedience to whoever owns it, youd do it in a way that the buyer couldnt just turn around and attack you?

Yeah, I thought they made it pretty obvious what her plan was, can't wait to see it unfold though. + Show Spoiler +I haven't read the books, but right after she trades her dragon for every soldier there, she makes a point to ask the slave girl about their complete and utter loyalty. She has thousands of soldiers, the guy with her dragon has none...
Anyway, this episode had more amazing scenes than any other imo. Shooting the fire arrows at the funeral, the chair game (!) that flawlessly and wordlessly expressed each persons' characteristics, Podrick's little adventure, and of course Jaime getting his hand cut off.

Cersei goes way out of her way to carry a chair all the way across the room to sit at Tywin's right hand. Tyrion takes a second to think things through and all the while I was thinking "He can't even lift a chair!" So of course he starts dragging it -- I'm sure we'll all agree it was funny -- but then instead of placing it next to his sister he puts it at the exact opposite end of the table from Tywin. Essentially he's saying two things to his father: "I won't get in line with the ass-kissers on either side of the table," and "I'm not afraid to admit that you and I are adversaries."
That's just my interpretation, you can take it however you want.
