And Donna 10 years younger in highly sexually suggestive scenes? YES PLEASE. You guys know the actors aren't actually going to be ten years younger, right? woah are you serious? i really thought they would go back in time. Thanks

It's always awkward to me when they make flashback episodes where the characters look exactly the same. Mike especially, I thought he was supposed to be like 25, and it's difficult to make him look any younger.

I think they made Harvey's hair different... shorter or something. That totally means younger. And Donna's longer too. Duh.

I guess it's the OneOther school she's looking at?

I honestly wonder if the constant shoutouts to high-ranked Universities in this show are paid advertisments (product placement). I mean, it makes sense that they need some frame of reference for the characters' educational backgrounds + Show Spoiler +, but it's not as if there's actually a tangible difference between Harvard, Yale, and Stanford (or, in reference to last week's episode: Wharton, Princeton, MIT).

Just saw the latest episode. This show is so funny + well written. Loving it.

Yeah I agree, was really surprised he took it that way. Kudos to him but yeah Donna looked disappointed and then surprised about the fact that she felt disappointed. Gonna be good.

I think you guys are taking Harvey's reaction WAAAAAYYYY too much at face value. He is a good 'closer' and calm under pressure in the show's narrative - his masks and false poker faces are some of his best qualities as a lawyer for a reason. Instead of reacting emotionally, Harvey simply took the strategic and practiced routine of acting dispassionate and blase over Donna's confession. This lets him react truthfully to himself on his terms in his own time, i.e. - Next Episode. Also, he buys time to figure out how much of a reaction he wants to eventually reach, confront any trace (or not so trace) amount of jealousy/regret, and decide what he wants to do next.
For me, as I was watching that scene, I knew Harvey was holding back and merely playing coy. What we don't know, assuming there are 'issues' here, is how deep his emotional well for Donna might extend. I liked the reference in the previous page or two I think to the fact that the show hasn't made up its mind yet on whether Harvey is a playboy - a Steven with gory and fleshy details we haven't been completely privy to - or if he's really the ruthless lawyer with a heart not only plated in gold but infused with adamantium. A big piece of evidence for the latter option would be that ex-lawyer at the Pearson Hardman who was portrayed by Gabriel Macht's actual wife, Jacinda Barrett. The one who had to conveniently leave to care of an ailing family member forcing Harvey to let her go or follow. And after a similar but opposite dilemma with Scotty, perhaps it's been Donna this whole time who Harvey has taken for granted emotionally and romantically speaking to the detriment of both of them.

I'm in agreement with you; I didn't say I thought his response was candid. I also think he was hiding his disappointment and anger, but I was merely impressed that he did it so well. Sure, that's his job with his clients, but with Donna it's so much harder for him to remain (seemingly) emotionless and trick her into buying a line. He was visibly rattled when Stephen brought up Donna; that's why I was surprised he was able to be so poker-faced when Donna brought it up.

Yeah obviously he wasn't ok with it, but he manned up and decided to stick to his side of the fence and not make a bigger deal out of it then it should be. He's got absolutely no right to judge her romantic decisions and he knows it too. Hence the pokerface imo, and not because he doesn't care.
edit: Louis is by far my fav character on the show. If this show ever dies within a few seasons this guy needs a spinoff. I'd watch a show named Team Litt, RIGHT?

The show would have to be called Littigation.

I wonder if we'll ever learn of the relationship between Stephen and Nigel, and if it (appropriately) mirrors that of Harvey and Louis's relationship. That would be pretty interesting and might provide a spark for Louis and Nigel to work together to show Darby and Jessica that they can be as good as Harvey and Stephen.
