For a while he was doing an excellent job, and now suddenly he always is doing the worst possible thing for the firm. It doesn't make sense. I'm not sure, but I think Darby wanted Stephen to make a move after finding out Harvey got his name on the door. He probably fears that Jessica and Harvey will team up on him or something... Yeah, but Eva is Darby's personal friend, it seems like he would place her well-being over a petty internal struggle when he already owns 51%.

Please don't let the "sorry Harvey" from Donna mean that she's going to London with Stephen. I would hate it I took that to mean that she was sorry she got involved with a douche like Steven, cause he back-stabbed harvey pretty hard it looks like. That's what I thought too... Donna merely apologizing for getting involved with Stephen in the first place. Harvey's truly her #1 ![]()

It was during a scene with Rachel and Stanford, so it was definitely the present. EDIT: But there was also the past acceptance to Harvard where Trevor read his mail and said he got in for the first time (and then lost the Harvard scholarship after he got caught helping Trevor out with selling calculus answers). So Mike got in twice. Rachel got in zero times. lol.

Also that scene in the coffeeshop. Donna 'You need me to stop you from doing things like this' and when Harvey tried to pull the piece of paper away, she added 'in the future...'. So good

He got re-accepted into Harvard; he showed Rachel the letter when she came back from her Stanford trip. I don't think it was established as to whether or not he was going (and what that entails for his job at the firm and his future), but he clearly wants to go. That was his plan back in high school when he got in the first time. In before Rachel turns into a jealous bitch again.

Can you elaborate on what constitutes as "meh" and what would pick the season up? As an aside, Harvey's dad really does seem to be an awesome guy. Harvey's spoken fondly of him in the past, but this episode actually shows what a sincere and good-hearted person he was.

I thought that was just his old acceptance letter, and he was going to tell Rachel the flashback story as a way of expressing his understanding of her wanting to follow her dreams. But then again, he already supposedly told her everything, so your version makes more sense. Did they ever show Mike opening the new acceptance letter?

They didn't show that, so it being his old acceptance letter could be the case. Rachel had been pressuring him to apply and go to Harvard now though, so perhaps he's trying to go back to school to be a "real" lawyer and to make Rachel happy (and to get his own education out of the way while Rachel does hers)? Weird.

Weird. I imagine the interview to be kind of awkward. "So Mr. Ross what have you been doing the last 3 years?" "I don't know. Nothing I guess."
