Already so many great matchups. With history and recent results speaking, TL vs NB and Secret vs VP could just as well be the grand final. But I'm also hyped for all the other matches. The still improving Na'Vi, a new EG line-up that still has to prove their strength and Mineski and TNC to prove once again that SEA deserves a direct invite to any Minor or Major in the future. But VGJT vs VG especially since I think VGJT is actually stronger. VG doesn't seem stable enough ... sadly, since I'm a relatively big fan of Paparazi who still thinks his role and forced(?) hero pool is holding him and the team back. But that's probably not an accurate objective analysis ^^
Time to go to bed and catch at least the first bo3 live ~.~

There's also an Invoker with no midas but with drums instead. Seems like they intend to take the fight to VP pretty soon

Requires you to get the initiation on him before he ults/BKBs which isn't guaranteed or even that likely, and if that happens you probably kill him anyway or Tusk just saves him

Not really. The Sven wants to farm up to his Bkb himself before making any big rotations, otherwise he dies against Shaker and Skywrath alone. So until Sven has his Bkb the PL is completely uncontested.

i dont think they need early bkb to fight early. real problem is the nightstalker ganks are not working. they pretty much lost this game because every attempt to catch secret got countered

Naga is generally good against void. Push lanes avoid fights, sleep if team gets chronoed.

Regardless, their results were about as good as Alliance's after their win (Alliance was widely considered a top team and a contender before bombing out at TI4), and much worse than Navi (who remained dominant for another two and a half years) and IG (which was considered best team in the world until they fell apart at G-1 League in spring 2013). Too early to say about Liquid, but EG is only convincingly ahead of Newbee and Wings with a roster that closely resembles their TI5 roster
so ti curse would only have to apply to 2/6 teams if you wanna argue EG was somehow immune to it, and 3/4 teams before EG were also immune to it

To be honest I did not follow the thought process of newbee. Both their game play and their itemization looked like they where aiming for a early game win. I have no idea why they did that but that totally played into liquid hands. By the end Lycan was so under farmed and had gone for such early game focused build that the he was completely useless.
