People seem quite quick to forget that iG used to be the Facerush team where they just picked NS BH DS Sven and rolled their opponents in less then 30min with more then 1.5 kill a minute

they play what it takes to win or what is the current game and the current game favours a lot of Rat Dota.

nobody should flame iG for that game, they were super behind and did what they had to do to try and win. That game was 100% TongFu's fault.

iG drafted for that specific situation though. Claiming things are 100% one teams fault when it's just two teams playing out their strategies is just strange. TF missed their timing which let iG execute their strat. From there TF managed to finally find a hole in iG and win the game. If anything it's pretty impressive that TF managed to claw back after missing their initial timing.

iG looks titled. I hope not..

Did you REALLY expect them not to?

I mean sure, there's still some hope because it's iG. But yeah.. no surprise if either team starts tilting here.

YES so much better than navi vs tongfu yesterday so hyped for game 3!

I hope this is sarcasm

I thought the navi vs tongfu game was stupid.

I kinda agree, but it was no where near as boring as 65 minute farmfest

See, this is where I disagree.

I was bored as fuck watching 10% fountain hooks that win the game.

The thing that people are not respecting is how much having double/triple buybacks on your position 1-3 heroes actually allows you to fight ridiculous high ground defense fights. If they splitpush a big creep wave into your tier 3, and then give up 3+ buybacks to hold their lane while you lose yours, that's actually a net gain for a split-push based team.

Even with an Alch double your net worth, you still don't win 5v7/5v8 fights on enemy high ground. Chinese teams are deathly aware of this because pushing high ground in 2009/2010 was a nightmare when there was no buyback CD and buybacks were cheaper, so even with 1 core, you'd still be trying to push through double/triple buybacks from the same hero.

People who have been watching the game that long should remember a certain LGD vs. EHOME game where LGD played a 5 intel hero comp against a Sniper + Shadowfiend dual core--the game was long over for them after Sniper and Shadowfiend got their items up, but they defended and Aegis+Cheese push with Storm's triple buyback.

On a sidenotem Chuan is s pissed with his teammates, especially faith and 430

...which is pretty much why iG is doing so badly.

The real surprise is that they're top 5 in their worst possible form LOL

Ferrari can really drag anyone across the finish line.

I thought they lost the last game?

Playing for this amount of money, any strat is legit. Us liking or disliking any particular games is a matter of personal taste. Players don't and shouldn't give a crap about that

I think we all agree with that,, but I feel the teams going for a strat kicking earlier, likeh tongfu rushing a 6 slots alche, are rendered a bit too shy because of the money and could hvae played it better with a more agressive style once alche was 6 slotted. The result is contradicting, I know.

Are you trying to say teams have more to offer than what they show within 3 days? Impossible! Should bash them instead!
