TF missed their timing which let iG execute their strat. From there TF managed to finally find a hole in iG and win the game. If anything it's pretty impressive that TF managed to claw back after missing their initial timing. TongFu didn't 'miss' their timing. They adamantly refused to take it.

If they splitpush a big creep wave into your tier 3, and then give up 3+ buybacks to hold their lane while you lose yours, that's actually a net gain for a split-push based team. Even with an Alch double your net worth, you still don't win 7v5/8v5 fights on enemy high ground. Chinese teams are deathly aware of this because pushing high ground in 2009/2010 was a nightmare when there was no buyback CD and buybacks were cheaper, so even with 1 core, you'd still be trying to push through double/triple buybacks from the same hero. People who have been watching the game that long should remember a certain LGD vs. EHOME game where LGD played a 5 intel hero comp against a Sniper + Shadowfiend dual core--the game was long over for them after Sniper and Shadowfiend got their items up, but they defended and Aegis+Cheese push with Storm's triple buyback. We just saw DK holding highground against a 20k+ gold advantage against probably the most aggressive team left in the tournament besides Na'Vi. It's just easy to forget.

NOOO D: Valve already made me buy that LGD courier, I wouldn't be able to resist a GlaDOS announcer. Volvo, think of the children! And the androids!

This was just a stack fest with poor team fight and awful warding/map control from both teams and I for one didn't see as many errors as you did. yes TF dropped the ball hard when it came to capitalizing on their initial lead. but pretty much everything after that was more or less consequential play, in order to recover from their midgame errors. same goes for iG- they had no other choice than split push throughout the game. I can appreciate picture perfect play. but I can also acknowledge the effort of redeeming your errors. which was certainly no easy task for TF to do, after they have maneuvered themselves into the one-way-street
