Not very international imho You think it would be any different if it was hosted in China? Home teams always get cheered more than away teams. thats exactly why i said these audience are disgusting, navi/loda were hugely welcomed and cheered by the crowd when they were there. Oh get over yourself. People are allowed to cheer for their favorite team. Why should they cheer for another team that they don't want to win? If some people in China are fans of navi good for them. No, it's that the Chinese fans clearly show a great deal of respect towards Western teams but it's not the same when the Chinese teams come to The International. This has clearly been the case even when the Chinese teams aren't even playing fan favorites, or home teams from the USA. TI2/TI3 are perfect examples of this. Nobody's disrespecting Chinese. People are cheering for Navi because they like Navi and want them to win. This is a normal thing in any sport. You don't go to a football match and cheer equally for each team. Personally if Orange wins I will back them against Alliance because I think Alliance are boring. It has nothing to do with race and everything to do with playstyle. Have you ever been to a soccer match. The fans of two sides are very aggressive and if you sit in the wrong seat you are pretty much screwed. Nobody here is saying 'People are cheering for Navi because they like Navi and want them to win.' - fans can do whatever they want BUT the one-sided support to all the western teams with none to most eastern teams (which are facts) annoyed some people, including me.
Wow, you basically repeated exactly what I said without refuting it all. Fans can do whatever is the point exactly the point, so why not just chill and enjoy the games and let us Navi fans cheer for who we want to?

Like a Chinese team could be playing some random EU team not named Na'vi and the crowd would still cheer for the EU team no matter what. No bias here folks, he speaks fact. Really, he isn't a Chinese fanboy or anything. So why is it Western teams get a great deal of respect when they are playing at G-1 or any other lan event in Asia? Get out of here. Everyone knows that there's a tinge of racism/discrimination going on. Really....no racism in China at all. Please, lets deal in reality. Just stop with the stupid bias discussion. The crowd is not a hive mind, they do not think as one. 'SC2 community isn't a hive mind, there's no sexism in it.' ? Accuse SC2 community of sexism when there's clear and blatant discrimination against all Asian teams at TI? Orange has been playing highly aggressive and entertaining Dota, and hardly anyone cheers for them unless they are playing vs a Chinese team. I agree that Orange has been playing really good Dota. But look at the banners in game, Orange isn't getting anywhere near Na'vi, and I'd imagine it's about the same if not greater ratio of fans in the crowd. You just seem like one of those people that calls racism on everything. It's not just Navi, they (as in the crowds at past TI 2 and TI 3) would rather cheer for a team like Mouse or CLG over an Asian team. All right, we get it, you think the crowd is either bias or racist. Are we done now?

While the game's not over until the enemy gg out, I think it's time for a shower/quick bite and to prepare NTH chants.

Ring around the rosie at top lol

Na'Vi is in the position where Puppey drafted perfectly but his team is unsure about how to play it yet, Orange is in the position of drafting horribly but having situations they play extremely well.
Interesting as fuck.

Youre free to buy a ticket and go cheer for your favorite team then. The fact that the crowd is bias towards Western teams is because they are mostly new to the dota scene and are there supporting teams/players they relate to, which is hard to when you dont speak the same language. Chinese dota scene is older and is there for the game.
The soccer anology you are just repeating what he said, you DONT cheer equaly for both teams, home has always advantage, and if you watch Champions league final which is on neutral stadium there is always bias toward a favorite

Taking the drunken louts at football matches as role models does not do any service to your argument...
