If you TP to a place just after another teammate has just TPed it will take much longer. The whole team being able to TP at the same time was too strong and made defending too easy I believe.

It seems to me like it takes twice more times sometimes. it depends on the number of people teleporting, basically if only you are teleporting to a tower then you take 3 seconds, if two people tp, first person takes 3 seconds, second person waits for first person to tp then starts tping (i.e. 3+3= 6) and so on and so forth

is there a limit to creep stacks?

Nope. The only limit is how many creeps can feasibly exit the zone. For ancients I find it hard to get more than 5 just due to the huge sizes of the creeps. I am sure with smaller camps you can get them pretty high.

Anyone know if Valve plans to allow the option for shared unit control?
In DotA 1, as Broodmother you could just hand your Spiderlings to a support to let them jungle with them--but because there's no shared unit control in DotA 2 yet, I still have to micro the Spiderlings myself.

would be usefull for Lanaya traps too.

I just got a DotA 2 Beta Key (thanks to Denzil <3), and I'm wondering if it would still be good to use the guides on PlayDotA. I'm not sure how much they changed the DotA 2 from DotA 1.

Dota 2 and dota 1 are the same game, different engine. Very very minor differences. Guides will still be relevant.
Also just did a fountainhook. BEST FEELING IN THE WORLD.

If they are still relevant for Dota 1 they should be good enough for Dota 2, the problem is that you may find a lot of old guides, outdated for both Dota 1 and Dota 2. The lack of some heroes and the small diferences in mechanics aren't really meaningful for a general guide for begginers.

Why isn't Kunkka used more? Competitively and in PUG's.

I don't know about competitively, but I find his abilities hard to aim and hit with successfully. I'm by NO means good at all, but the splash and boat are super hard to get off successfully IMO. X Marks the Spot will help you some, but the times you want to use X are when people are running away so you/your team can get kills, using them to set up splash or the boat is not the best IMO.

Topic: Stacking Creeps
Is there any point in stacking creeps and not just killing them outright when you're there unless you're using like HotD and stacking ancients/large creeps while you farm elsewhere?
The reason I ask is that I to play jungle Naix a lot and of course I'll pull creeps away at :50 for a stack but then kill them immediately after.
Or I could just be dumb and you've been talking about with like hotd or just as a support stacking creeps for a carry

You can farm faster if you pull them away at 0:50 and then come back to kill them right away, because you will get 2 camps worth out of 1 neut spot. The main problem with this is that you will take more damage because there are more creeps to fight.
Heroes like Axe and Storm benefit from stacking like this a lot because of their aoe spells. Naix can benefit from it because you can often farm in a way that only 1 creep is hitting you.
You can also stack if you're walking past a big camp that you know you can't kill at that time but might want to come back later in the game to kill once you are high enough level or have a skill like Infest.

Yeah I always pull away at :50 but I didn't think about stacking the large camps in the early game for later use... thanks for the tip!

Also you need to stack most camps if you want to pull creeps without your lane pushing. I think Dendi said you don't have to stack the stronger creep camps (centaurs) for your lane not to push since they'll manage to kill your creeps if you start denying them from 1/2 hp, but i haven't tried it.

Requires too much farm and a lot of randomness for a melee carry, and does nothing that other heroes can't do better in that role.
|
Also, if you have a co-ordinated team, you can have supports stack the jungle for the carry, so when the carry gets farmed enough (BF or other splash, or just high DPS and maybe lifesteal), they just run around and get super farmed.
PS - try this with shadow fiend :D
