Well, liquipedia says "End Date:2016-1-31". So... a Friday to Sunday tournament? 29.-31.?

Another question: Because of the Captain's Draft Tournament I somehow looked at all the game-modes. And I wasn't aware that in ARDM there are three heroes not in the pool! Why is that? I understand Lone Druid, because if you die and had items on your bear they are lost for good. But Invoker and Meepo? Are they considered too strong for this mode? Or what is the reason behind that?

Meepo was bugged at one point. Die as meepo and the game tried to give you as many heroes as meepos died. 4 meepo clones die? You get 4 heroes at once!

Sooo they just removed him.

Invoker the speculation is some weird interaction with orbs giving you stats or something, but I don't actually know.

Anyone know how the game calculates the damage done/taken of illusions created from illusions. Say an SD goes against a Spectre, Spectre haunts and SD disrupts the haunt illusion. Haunt illusion is 30% dmg dealth, 200% dmg taken, Disruption is 30-60% dmg dealth, 150% dmg taken. So what does the resulting illusions have? Still same as if it was from the main Spectre? Different?

Most notable probably when playing Morphling, do you care about replicating the main Naga/AM/Spectre or are you fine getting manta/haunt/mirror image ones?

If glimpse is casted on you and then you self euls, do you get moved by glimpse or does euls cancel it?

iirc you will still get glimpsed if you are cyclone, even if you are still in the air at the moment the glimpse animation lands, you will be ported back to that spot.

abilities that remove you from the map GENERALLY break the glimpse if you are using them the moment that the glimpse lands (ie: you use sleight of fist and you're still jumping through targets when the animation completes) because you are considered invulnerable and off of the map.

but i THINK that puck's phase shift and OD's astral will not save you.

when do i quas wex or quas exort on invoker? ive literally never played this dude and i think it's time to get better. . . also, should i take up invoke levels whenever they're available?

My naix got mad at me for using glimmer cape on him while he was manfighting a pa because he said when I cast the glimmer on him it causes him to stop attacking briefly. I am pretty sure he's full of crap. Is there any reason not to use glimmer on him? I mean, if he's still fighting it is a useless thing to do so I'm wasting the cooldown, but I don't think it harms anything.

I think the inconsistency comes from the neutral units finishing their attack animation before using their spells.

(E): Confirmed. Centaurs finish their full attack animation before starting a stomp. I assume the same applies to other neutral units.

That means centaurs have a 0.5-1.1 second delay and hellbear smashers have a 0.5-1.02 second delay before the clap/stomp effect.

Yeah you should get invoke whenever available.

Wex exort if you want to deal damage.

Quas Wex if you want control and utility.

ya he's full of shit. i tried it in a custom game, set a friendly bot to autoattack an enemy bot, then used glimmer on him. it didn't interrupt his attacking at all. also fine when i set the friendly bot to attack move (instead of directly right clicking on the enemy)

did you try it with auto-attack-after-spell both disabled and enabled? that shit randomly fucks with that kind of thing

invoke whenever available is debatable as fuck...but 4 levels in invoke by 16/17 is standard-ish

the classic forge spirits exort waits till you're 414 or 404 (latter not recommended) for your 2nd point in invoke

there's an argument to be made for leaving it at 1 point until you decide you don't want to play with only 3 spells anymore (tornado emp coldsnap / sunstrike meatball deafening blast / forge spirits coldsnap sunstrikeordeafaningblastoralacrity)

invoker whiners who call out level 8 invokers for being "3 spell players" are hilarious imo

as for difference between wex and exort; wex also doesn't do as well during laning but can comfortably roam earlier, exort's kind of pressured to keep farming like a carry all game (wex can keep farming as well but can also play mostly like a 4 position in the grand scheme of things)

yeah i dont get my 2nd point in invoke asap. you dont have enough levels in q/w/e to justify a shorter cooldown on your invoke.
you do want your 4th invoke at lvl 17 though, so make sure at you spend your points in invoke somewhere along the way

Eh, the simple answer for someone first learning would be sure and let them figure it out on their own. But i guess I wouldnt tell tinker players to take ultimate ASAP so yeah.
