Kuro on 1.230, boys watch out the Captain is coming for you! :D
Interesting note, Solo is on 1.247. This just shows that the best leaders does not have to be the best player as well.

Kuro has never been into mmr spamming like the others are, so that's standard.
|
Yeah his job is more to watch replays and study teams and meta
|
Yes, I know that Kuro doesnt give a shit about his MMR and ranking.
I just found it interesting that the leader of the two most consistent teams since 1,5 years are nearly identical on their placings which are significantly below their team members. For example, other Captains of top teams like fly(place 92) and N0tail(place 117) are in the same regions like their companions and I am pretty sure they are putting a similar amount of time into studying their opponents.

To be fair they could be smurfers also

Notail's answer in the TrueSight Q&A to the question what advice he would give someone in the finals.
"Ask Kuro. He knows..."
Hell yeah

Unsubstantiated rumours that Miracle (a Polish passport holder) was a refused a visa, due to the Poles detaining a Huawei worker on spying charges.

I was so excited to see the full squad on the big stage after so long. Now it's just a puddle of sadness.

Don't spread that shit, please. The only piece of information about that comes from a Chinese forum, which I rate as highly as Reddit as a source. It also doesn't hold up to scrutiny. Miracle has been to China plenty of times before, so he probably holds a multi-year visa. That means they'd have to retract his visa, which would mean they'd also refuse Nisha and Nisha is already in China (confirmed by CyborgMatt).

Damn….really hoped to see them all play together at the Major, was pretty hyped after their last showing at MegaFon. Was wondering why Miracle was playing pubs yesterday evening when the remaining Team was already at Amsterdam at the airport, but now it makes sense.
Hope he will be able to solve his private problems quickly, family should always be on the first position.

Can a team play with subs?UPDATED Yes. During qualifiers, a team must play with at least 4 of its 5 registered players (this will cause no penalty). Any team that plays the LAN portion of a tournament with a sub will incur a 40% penalty on points earned from that tournament.

Any team that plays the LAN portion of a tournament with a sub will incur a 40% penalty on points earned from that tournament. Valve has been rather lenient with that in the past, though. I think (note: think, I didn't write the rules) that the rule is there so people won't say someone's a sub when they're actually trying out a new player. Still a possibility TL will get a point penalty, though.

I don't see why they wouldn't. I mean, when it's something outside of the team/players' control like Visa issues, it makes sense to waive the penalty, but when it's a personal issue with one of the players there's no way they won't apply the penalty.
Between this and missing out on the last major Liquid really isn't having the greatest start to this season.
I hope we'll get to see the full squad back in action at the next major.

In general, I was of the opinion that the DPC penalty has been implemented in order to avoid that Teams screw up a player by kicking him prior the Major and/or TI. For example, when J.Storm replaced Milan with Fear shortly after their qualification to the Major.
I do not think that there is any intention by Liquid to replace Miracle and I just hope that Valve will show some "mercy" towards our boys when explaining them the situation.
|
Oh man, I miss seeing all 5 in a big tournament. Damn it! Hope everything is fine and whatever the issue gets resolved quickly. In regards to the tournament, I still think we will do great
|
This sucks so much. They missed the first major, because they were bad at the time, and now that they are strong again, miracle is not available...sure they can still get a good placement with shadow, but I want to see the whole team again. And then 2 month of fucking downtime before the next major. I don't like this new system at all, even if it's better for the players. I don't feel connected to the game at all right now, not even reading much here or on reddit. there are so few tournaments I am interested in, basically only the majors are left now. This became a rant about the pro circuit pretty quickly xD
