First off there's no need for those positions in farm etc. It's all about each game now adays. And the old alliance won TI because they reinvented farm prio, there's nothing that says you cant do that again. Maybe two fives is the new shit? The biggest issue is that it's random for them, not intended or trying to break new meta. Second i think you are right about personal skill. They are all slacking now adays, afaik. They dont spend their time on personal skill. Too many players are full time now and you cant get away with half time. This is at least what I think. They really really need to step up their training both as a team as individually. They have flashes of synergy throughout the games, but nothing that sticks for an entire match. Game 1 vs NiP was a blast to watch. Everything worked out the way they wanted. Lucky strike? Who knows... but it sure shows they are capable, they just need to practice enough to make it standard, not a 1 time luck out. All that said, it feels so weird that these players have fell so far down, something is odd, something is off. Who knows what but it's really strange. I mean s4 was in secret and did well. Alliance did well before TI qualifiers. Not tier1, but they did well. They had synergy more often then they didn't. Sure they lost but everyone does. Suddenly they're tier 3 or even worse, just a few months later? It's just odd as hell. No one gets crap over night. Even without team spirit and team synergy ppl doesn't get that bad. Either way. Time will tell, it's too hurtful to watch today. Will try n get the vods when im back home tonight. | ||

Today: They're starting out really well vs Vega Squadron. The reason I say that is not because they're ahead x gold in net worth or whatever but because they're actually playing aggressive and taking initiative. Great to see! - (Considering they've been so passive in playstyle lately) | ||

Listening to the casters' analysis right now (end of game 2 vs Vega Squadrion) gives me the good chills "It seems as if something's switched in the mentality of Alliance today" Yeah, they're looking composed, focused and on a completely different level than they have these past few weeks. #happy Edit: Sure, they have Leshrac and BH in game 2, but it's the way they're approaching the game that gives me hope. They're taking the initiative and are playing with confidence. Love it! | ||
