I was hoping for something new. But they picked Tiny anyways and he was kited the entire match as usual. So silly to see Loda with aegis run hopelessly around while Secret destroys the rest of the team, picking off Loda last. I think they lost the game on execution and not the draft , with 7.5k lead they gave away by going on Spectre with no vision and got baited 2 times (storm+io+tiny died) they shouldve played aggresive with that lead but not blind .....

They know it's a hero puppey lovesd to play/draft plus the pick single handedly rekt them in all games. Even if you feel like you can deal with the hero (which they definitely did not) if the enemy team really lieks the hero you might aswell just ban it. After the clutch play with the buyback/relocate when they got 3, they were ahead quite a bit. From there they shud've just gone 5 and push tower after tower. Getting more in the lead instead of trying to get pickoffs on spectre. Think that wud've won them the game.

In the end the draft in game 1 was catching secret out of their position. That broodmother really destroyed their gameplan and forced them to go for a safelane hero able to manage that issue. W33 played such a great meepo. It was a clear draft game, it went into late game where a good crystal maiden is just the biggest issue for a meepo. Akke played the fights well, even bulldog took a good position in limiting their farm in the own jungle, but he still does not shine with bm. Game 2 and 3 just don t got this outdraft component, and then they struggled.

I do agree with MonkeyLarry though, they feel on the verge of getting their shit together. Their are moments of brilliance. Just gotta keep it up! ![]()

Yeah im still chocked with the vast distance between their best and worst tho. At times they just do things that shudn't be possible, and then they throw all of that away by just standing in the wrong place or going uphill without vision is stupid places. Traps that should be commonplace not to fall into at pro level. But yeah.

Bulldog dancing by the enemy fountain at the end there.. imagine their frustration. How long can this go on before Alliance falls apart?

Drafting wise though imo their drafts were very strong against Secret (games 1 and 2) in the WCA quals, and you could see they could have won both of those games. If they find something draft wise that works for them things can improve pretty quickly, at least to a level where they can qualify for the major.

More like how long before Bulldog decides to take a break, Alliance get decent results with a new offlaner, and Bulldog comes back to take the offlane spot

A whole new roster with more dedicated players is in order. Built around S4 would be good. The old Alliance should have been burried a long time ago. Now they will just end on a sad sad note instead of going out with head held high.
