As i sad, i did not see other games, but shutting down one player should not cause team to collapse. If one team concentrate on shutting down one player = the rest of the team have freedom to act.

Goes to show how much a playmaking mid player can change a team. Still needs a more impactful support to replace mynuts, and maybe another offlaner that does not rely too heavily on farm furion to perform.

Here, I fixed it. <3
Actually it would be interesting to see teams utilising their sub-s to play some specific heroes or style. Will that happen? I think most will just play as 5 and use subs in case of shit (visa/health issues).

Kinda harsh though. Bulldog does well with many other heroes if he isn't shut down hard. But when he is, you see him unable to make any impact. He ends up either being passive by farming, or playing suicidal low net worth clockwerk role etc.

I don't think he was serious, but joking and meme-ing instead.

Anyone know as to why Alliance isn't going to Gaming Paradise anymore? I could have sworn they were in the list before, but they're not there etc.

They said they weren't invited, was just an error.

Why is S4 not on the team in the in game profile? He also played with a standin tag against NIP if I recall correctly? I seem to remember he had the Alliance tag against Abraxos

The Abraxos game wasn't ticketed, his name was set manually.

The NiP game was ticketed.

Akke's Chen in game 1 was sublime. 10/10
Loda played a great Gyrocopter in that game as well, but it's of course easy to look good as a carry in situation where your team has the entire map on lockdown.
In game 2, Loda's PL was struggling pretty hard and his plays could have been better.
In game 3 I think he made a good comeback with Gyro considering he was shut down pretty hard early/midgame.
Akke had a good game 2 on Visage, making some big bird plays, but his game 3 on WD was lackluster.

Overall: They played well enough.

Yea akke chen was beautiful. The smoke play at top rune to bait the sf into going for rune was awesome. The mid lane gank on sf via s4 low hp bait + haste rune (of course he has haste..) was cool too. Vintage alliance plays.

Hope our boys don't take the loss too hard, and that they practice a lot and well going forewards. There is great potential in Alliance, but they need serious discipline and diligence if they are to be tier 1 again. They need to be the best TEAM, if no longer the best players.

For what it's worth, I love seeing them play and hope they can recover. #longliveAlliance

Yeah, here's to hoping that Alliance pull it together. Even if their drafts weren't the best for the 4CL match, I certainly appreciate seeing something different. No doubt these players still have something left in them. But yeah, discipline is really the key word here. Even at TI5, where he didn't have the best showing, S4 played really well in one or two matches with Queen of Pain, being able to artfully balance his use of the hero. However, this evening he was playing as if he didn't care, making a lot of silly mistakes.

To me, they aren't practicing enough as a team... Bulldog is always streaming and even if i love his stream i don't know what's the purpose of playing with 5k + players and girls while other pros are constantly playing in the 7k bracket, if you check Loda's dotabuff he's just playing random games with random heroes instead of practicing hard carries, Akke looks like he doesn't play that much.

I think they have to start taking things seriously and play 8-9 hrs/day AS A TEAM to improve... and i'll never doubt S4's captaining, some picks today may seem weird, but they have to try something out of the box.

That said, hope they can recover...

they can't play as a team that much time because Akke has a job.

Also most non chinese team don't practice together that much, they mostly pub.

But playing together is the only thing that really makes sense if you want to be competitive. Just pubbing is pretty useless in that regard. For their sake, I hope Alliance manage to get at least 2-3 hours of practice together every day despite Akke's difficulties finding the time. Otherwise, I don't see how they can have any hope of getting back to the top of the Dota scene.

2-3 hours of practice at those levels are nothing guys.... Arteezy said in his ask.fm he can play 10 hours per day (in 7k+ bracket, not 5k) to train, if they want to ever accomplish anything, they NEED to play that much at highest levels for a long time otherwise, they'll never reach anything, if they are ok with it i don't mind, i'll Always support the boys no matter what.
