Though I guess it is possible that s4 deems the situation hopeless and runs back to Puppey, but I doubt it at this point

I was mostly dreaming with this lineup, but yeah ofc he doesn't want to play Dota 2 right now - everyone says that after a disappointing loss at TI. But how many players have actually managed to go from being a top player in the world to quitting cold turkey? Jury is still out imo.

He will likely be back for TI6, but the question is just that what team can he join when his return comes closer. I would be very surprised if after TI6 Zai wasn't be in one of the very best teams again, but what team he can join before it depends on how everyone does and who wants to make a rather late player change.

He talked about it on stream at some point this week, and just said that playing a lot is not a problem at all, he just can't take a lot of time off all the time to travel. Also based on what he said on twitter or whatever he is going to be some sort of a sub/coach for Secret while he is not playing, so from that and playing a lot it's doubtful he is going to fall off really at all. Yeah I'm also a bit curious about that as well, and whether or not he'd be allowed to play. I wonder if he can just pencil himself in as a player for Secret and be "inactive" for a few months, before bootcamping with them again for TI6. With the majors system coming out, I don't think that he can just find a squad and do open qualifiers a month or two before the tournament - I feel like either he, or a team he's attached to would have to qualify throughout the 2015-2016 season. Is it feasible for him to only play in Majors, and use a standin for the other various tournaments Secret (or whatever team he'll be attached to in this hypothetical scenario) will play in?

Is it feasible for him to only play in Majors, and use a standin for the other various tournaments Secret (or whatever team he'll be attached to in this hypothetical scenario) will play in? I assume that if he is listed as a sub for a team he can just start playing whenever without any consequences. But of course the question is does Secret want to change players at that stage. If they don't then he has to find another team. I don't think it will be much more difficult to join teams than this year, each major will have some sort of a qualification system surely. And he can also potentially join some team that has a spot in the majors already, I don't think one player change necessarily takes that spot away. In theory I think it would be possible to just play majors, but the issue is that even those are a pretty big time commitment away from school, and also that I doubt many players would agree to come onto the team if the deal is that Zai plays the biggest tournaments and takes home the money.

From the screenshots in that blog I think it's very safe to say that they're playing private games/scrimming together. Whether or not that actually means S4 coming back is another thing. Looks hopeful though. Still, it leaves the question: Is 7ckingmad staying around or are we going back to an all-Swedish lineup?

However I thought Pajkatt left by choice. I was under the impression that he wasn't happy at Alliance (and Loda wasn't completely happy with him either considering 1. his greedy style which isn't what they need from ther mid and 2. slight difficulties in teamplay which had been said to partly stem from Pajkatt being younger and a bit immature). The drama is real!

I linked this interview in another thread, but it seems to me that Alliance had somewhat agreed to stay together, at least in 7ckingmad's eyes. Or at the very least 7ckingmad had the impression that he will be staying on Alliance. If he then gets the boot it's pretty understandable if he is pissed off a bit. He probably hasn't been seeing what other options there may be for him, and now a lot of people have already made their new teams. Though sometimes that's just the way it goes. But it remains to be seen if the tweet is even about that, we'll know soon enough I guess.

Mad is a great guy and has real potential as a drafter; I just know how highly Loda values the communication advantage that you get from having an all-national (Swedish) lineup.
