I think he did the right thing trying out the Secret project. Having done so probably made him appreciate playing with his friends in a less stressful environment (can't imagine Akke or Loda babyraging etc). I'm of course just speculating, but it's not a far cry imagining that this past year probably made him appreciate what he previously had. Hopefully this reunion motivates both him and the team!

To be honest, EE has been guessing all over the place. Not saying that Mynuts is neither impossible nor improbable, but I would take everything EE twitters with a grain of salt.

Fine, "guessing" perhaps is the wrong word, but he's been hinting at things left and right (some accurate, some not) - I'm mainly thinking about the ask.fm session. He seems to get a kick out of creating/fueling drama. That's the impression I'm getting anyway.
Edit: Besides, it's been pretty clear that Alliance have been trying out numerous players this past week (lobby screenshots, cryptic tweets etc). Perhaps Mynuts has performed better than the others and seems like a likely canditate (how would EE know about that anyway?) but I'd bet the Alliance players themselves aren't sure who their 5th player will be.

Have mixed feelings about S4 going back to Alliance. He must have had better offers. I just don't think Loda can cut it anymore and Bulldog has shown he is pretty much worthless with his tiny hero pool. Too easy to shut down.

I kinda agree, I feel s4 is the standout player in A if he actually goes back there.
I feel the key is with the dong, he needs to take the game more seriouse again, beast it up on some new heroes, and innovate his play a bit.
Ive always liked A because of being from sweden and all, hope they can get strong again

It also depends alot who their other support will be.
Alliance needs an active support that can gank and make plays like Notail or Kuroky, because Akke is good at the easy stuff like warding and play safe and stack and farm the jungle or sit in a lane harassing, but he cannot gank or take any initiatives.
So Akke needs a support that he can follow around the map, because it is a new game now. It is not like it was at TI3 where Akke and EGM just could farm the jungle the first 10 min and then the team would start to fiveman.
Now you have to fight for the runes and be active.

First off, there's a good chance s4 realized, after a year in a really stacked team, that he'd rather play with friends.
Second, you say there had to be better offers, but from whom? EG didn't offer him anything, this im pretty sure of at least. Secret is in shambles, c9 disbanded, CIS scene prob looking for talent within the CIS area, so what other teams could've offered him anything? I guess china could've, but that means moving. I'm not saying s4 picked A because he didn't have a choice, but the choices had to have been very few. A is a safe bet with established sponsors and good friends. A also has a house (afaik). Trying to take an offer up on a semi-stacked new team is really risky, and without sponsors you wont make any cash for a while. And looking at how most teams have ended up so far, i'd say A is a good place.

I thought the same for a while , but if EG win TI thought us anything is that you can win with defensive supports who play safe never roam , just protect & farm , if anyone roams its the cores , at least thats how i saw their game play from support perspective , i rarely saw PPD roam anywhere for ganks or Aui for that matter .

Who knows what the meta will be for the next major, 6.85 will hit before November. There is no 'confirmation' until we hear it from [A] organization, or S4 himself, but Envy said as much on his ask.fm and they've been scrimming together constantly.

There was also this http://ask.fm/EternaLEnVy1991/answer/130465962203 after which it turned out that EE himself teamed up with pld. I'm starting to think they're really struggling finding that 2nd player, which probably also makes the new midlaner difficult to convince. The announcement just feels so late by now, theres also the possibilities of a new C9 squad.
