the absolute best kymbos are those with high +life on hit, vitality or all resist mod AND melee damage reduced by 4-5% instead of knockback/blind/whatever. I wasn't able to find one myself though.

I wish I had money for Stormshield, there was one with 39% block with good stats and another one with 28% block with good stats as well but both of those are gone >< I can get to phase 3 Belial and than drop dead to his smash / special )= Need more gear!! | ||

honestly you should get a string of ears first and foremost, it's the single greatest item (even over stormshield) for a barb or monk. they are pretty cheap, I got a sick 18% for like 2M. I didn't feel like min/max for a 20% for like 6-12M at this stage of the game. | ||

I wasn't able to find one myself though. According to the game guide, the knockback on hit is fixed. Related aside: I hate how you can't use the preferred stat filters when searching for uniques. Why can't I filter only for Kymbos that have Vitality? | ||

I find this mob to be even better than farming the ghosts since it's always at least 2 drops even with 0 MF. The ghosts drop 1 for me quite a bit even with 200%+ MF. ~_~ For Build I go: http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/barbarian#WTRVkP!Vbe!cYZccZ I'm in the process of changing up and trying new builds but this is the one that's given me the most success so far. basically I stand there and tank adds (they cant kill me) until boss comes and blow every CD I have. The only thing that can really kill me is his fire spell, so I have to watch for that and move (if I even get a chance). | ||

when you have an item with +armor and another with +all resist, it will always show the +armor as more protection on the tooltip because the tool tip doesn't count resist as +protection. Right? My example isn't always true, my main question however is about if protection on tool tip is factored or influenced by resist stats. I don't think it counts. | ||

I suggest change Leap + stun to Leap+ Iron Impact this will boost your Armor by a large margin with low cd. You need more DPS skill, ditch one of the shout keep Warcry only. If you have only one slot you can spare for a 2 min cd, get WoTB since WoTB has very high DPS potential as well as crowd control immunity. @all other with with some sick Barb gear: You guys are so fucking rich while I am poor as dirt  . Was thinking of getting a Kymbo since there were 2 less than 700K but now they are gone  . I got a Puzzle ring yesterday for 50K though. Didn't even notice its only lv44, lol | ||

I also use enchantress for attack speed and armor. | ||

Most of the uniques at the bottom end of the price pool (500k Strings of Ears, Kymbo's below 1 mil) generally have poorly rolled stats. A Kymbo that has like +Dex or something as one of the random mods and has poor rolls on the value ranges is probably not worth your hard-earned gold--part of why people are showing off the good deals they found.
