EPTHave you guys seen this clip of Athene just taking out the butcher in inferno in about 3 seconds with a demon hunter? I watched a little bit of his stream afterwards just to see how much damage he does, he does about 250k damage with critical attack. Does any know his gear setup or have screen shots of his gear stats? I'm really curious to what he uses in order to achieve this amount of damage.

Imagine having a couple of those rings: +150 dex +15 ias +5% crit chance That's like +10k damage easy. Then suppose having gloves with +200 dex and +17 ias, +7% crit chance, a quiver with +14 ias, +7% crit, +200 dex... I think you can get 100k pre-sharpshooter pretty ez with such stupid items. Im farming hell act 3 relatively easy right now, bridge + siege beast runs. But the teleporter mobs with 2 axes before azmodan and just about everything in act 4 scares the shit out of me, not to mention inferno. Any other HC DH feel the same? I simply feel so fragile even with like 100 all res and 50% dmg reduction from armor. | ||

I got her down to 40% before adds came, then i just kited them while dpsing him until phase3. Got like 40k dps pre sharpshooter there. | ||

Right now my goal is to get to end of act 1 and begin farming for gold, as I'm dirt poor at the moment and really need to begin updating my gear. I will probably end up maxing my crafters as well and look into getting the designs for the Hallowed Armaments and other set/legendary gear. Also, anyone know when the commodity part of the AH is going to go back up? It's been down for like a week now; how hard is it to fix the section of the AH that sells gems, crafting mats and designs? | ||

Change your Entangling Shot rune to the one that gives you 6 Discipline per shot, the life gain is super duper small in Inferno, and even if it was substantial you're going to die in few hits any ways. I'm also not a big fan of the Bat if you're only Hatred spender is Elemental Arrow, try Vault with Tumble/Acrobatics or Spike Trap with Scatter -- yes it'll give you another hatred spender which would make you think you'd need the bat again, but you use it sparingly. In some situations it's amazing such as attacking around corners kinda and kiting. | ||

i also use focused mind - however, if i had more than 40 or 45 discipline I would obviously use something else either way, i've had no problem in inferno without + disc | ||

You want to save as much as you can and you also want to buy a 800+dps (cross)bow right when you get 60 (most likely a blue one <100k is all you can afford). At around 52-53 you can buy a 300-500dps weapon that will last you until 60. | ||

at least i haven't run into anything in the entire game where I wished I had a third SS before prep i essentially have 75 discipline (not accounting for natural regen) with focused mind though, so I just gain that extra SS on the back end rather than the front end. | ||

It really doesn't hurt to have it on your quiver, at least until you can upgrade to a 17%+ aspeed/high dex/crit chance one/elemental dmg one which go for like 10mil if they have all 4 of those stats at reasonably high numbers. | ||
