Zealots rush won't kill you if you know how to "wall-in"  . 12 (or 11)rax/gas at the same time will get you to build factory slightly faster than 10 rax, 11 gas. | ||

I don't understand what your question is. This is pretty standard. Marine will get out in time. Some scvs + the marine will beat the zealot. Then it plays like a regular defense vs zealots. Have you never seen this? Maybe some people do the more recent gas and rax both at 11 at same time thing. Either way your rax finishes with plenty of time unless he is proxy 9 gating you or something. | ||

However, as I open 90% of time fast dt into expansion, it eliminates most of the threats, except 2fact vult or a really, really fast vulture drop. But in those it all comes down to micro, so it can be beaten. | ||

LastShadow is my friend and I have seen his style crush many Protoss since I have known him. I am sure his guide will help many Terran players. I have read some of the gudie and chose to edit it for him as a gift. Since I support him and TL I thought that attempting to shorten the guide and clean it up a bit, would benifit everyone. I do not fear Protoss going into a game. I don’t care who they are as long as they are not a progamer. Thus, I think my Tvp can contend with the top foreigners. In Tvp, I generally open with 7 to 10 rush oriented attacks in order to gain a lead putting the Protoss in a dilema. Midas Rush - Any Map This is probably my most common rush in Tvp. I believe that if controlled properly, it is one of the most deadly rushes out there. I favor this rush for three reasons. It is deceptive, it hurts, and makes me feel comfortable. Early Game Theme 7 Upgraded Marines 1 Tank 1 Expansion Move out and micro to no end. Chosen Build 9 Depot 11 Barracks 12 Gas NOTE: A timely Barracks hinders a Sout or Zealot rush. My Midas Rush offers me three things 1. It breaks down a 1 Gate Range into FE forcing ProToss to cancle their expansion gaining me time on mine. Having the same Fact to Gate ratio enables me to jump to my third Fact and get to my preasure style immediately since he will lose units. Also, my new Fact allows me to reproduce units quicker and transiton into a 5 Fact Tornado. 2. I may catch them doing a Robo Build. Aginst this I can dominate them by going into their base and kills probes. There isn't much more too it. NOTE: Midas > Robo 3. If forced back due to 2 Gate Range Robo or 2 Gate Range into FE, I'll contain far enough outside his choke so it's not noticeable but close enough for a quick attack. This will generally make a Protoss panic and suicide more than he should to stop it strengthening my Pressure Push. The only thing that I did not like is how you try to convince us you are so good by repeating over and over how you beat top foreigners, koreans alot better than you, and so on. I can live without that. I am sure you are a good player, but I can tell by reading your guide if you are good or not. It is not like I wouldn't have read it if you haven't mentioned how you beat top players in your first sentence. Thanks again. | ||

Thanks again. I agree with you. Although, I know that until recently, Lastshadow's name was not even known let alone having any creditablity to have a guide be relevent to anyone. I feel he is saving others the time of investingating him and his skills by just letting us know what he can do. Since his style is unique, we need to know that it is strong and viable. Also, when writing certain types of papers, it is recommended to project a strong point of view. When a guide is writen from your perspective with your unique style in mind, having a strong view of the material, helps to sell the concepts therein. ---I-Emerge | ||

PvP, the denotation drop. Proceed with a 1 gate 2 zealot build, into 1/2 goons backup.(this is only done on ramped maps) make 2 robotics and get 3 shuttles and 6 reavers. as soon as shuttle speed is done, go blow up there nexus. congrats you are really cool.(beat sn3t with this build omg rofl) have fun and remember to not pressure at all. | ||
