Fucking bullshit. He moved out of the way at the last second and left his leg behind to draw a penalty. He was trying to deliver an open-ice check and the defender got his own knee hit. Stupid? Yea. Intentional? Please. | ||

He's still getting less penalty minutes than every major star on the Wild (a team that is one of the least physical in the league). He's been clean since he got here. That hit was hard and got a deserved penalty but it wasn't the worst thing in the world. It was nothing but a 2-minute penalty. Really don't know how you can defend that.... It was stupid and will probably result in a suspension, but to be all up in arms about how Cooke is nothing but a goon and does it all maliciously is ridiculous. He's contributed significantly to the Wild since he got here and hasn't been maliciously hunting people down at all. It's really telling when Av's fans are resorting to calling the Wild a bunch of goons and thugs when the franchise has been small and simply weak for years and years. This is the last team you'd talk about when talking about "tough" or "physical" teams, and yet all they do tonight is bitch about how the team is a bunch of goons. It's fucking sad. You know what Minnesota fans do when we lose? We own up to it, because our teams fucking suck and have for an entire generation. Maybe Av's fans need to stop being so fucking obnoxious and own up to getting beat down tonight. | ||
