Or you could stick to traveling to countries where Trump is viewed favorably. Which limits you to... well. Shit.

Maybe he just falls back to tactics that have worked with his business in the past? If you are the big fish, you can probably bully people by sending them invoices, especially in the US legal system where money makes right. But he has to realize that that shit doesn't work when dealing with other nations as a statesman. I am just wondering how other politicians deal with him. My guess is trying to figure out if playing him to gain something or just ignoring him completely until he (hopefully) goes away in 4 years.

Merkel should just send him the NATO treaty and tell him to read it.

I imagine it's kind of like dealing with someone else's obnoxious child at a restaurant. You ignore as much as yuo can, try to get their handlers on board with doing something, then eventually you just...

At the start his approval among Republicans was high (still is) but so far I think his ineffectiveness is giving them more and more spine. Democrats were already is obstruction mode, but even gopers will start distancing from him and opposing him. Trump needs to get it together fast.

Meanwhile Ryan's running the line that the Freedom Caucus actually fucked the Dems because Obamacare is about to collapse but if the Republicans replaced it before it collapsed then nobody would know so actually he's trying to help the Dems and the Freedom Caucus is their enemy. They need to work out their message.

Merkel should send him a bag of monopoly money Merkel should say Wow, did you make this all by yourself? That's awesome, good job. I'll tell you what, we're gonna go back to Germany and we're going to put this on the fridge. And not just my fridge, no, we're going to pass this around, a German family will be picked at random and given it to put on their fridge for a week before forwarding it to another. That way as many people can display this as possible.

To get in, clubgoers had been searched with an electronic wand to detect hidden weapons. Still, the witness told CNN affiliate WLWT that he heard about 20 gunshots in the club. One person was killed and 15 wounded. Police said several people had been able to sneak guns into the club and they believe more than one person was involved in the shooting. They said it might have developed from a dispute that started earlier in the day. The shooting was not related to terrorism, authorities said. Source

Doing it in that particular way is probably not the play, though.

So the idea that they owe money is at best a mischaracterization of what is actually going on.

At one point, the paper said, House Speaker Paul Ryan (Wis.) got down on one knee to plead with Rep. Don Young of Alaska – the longest-serving Republican in Congress -- to support the bill. (He was unsuccessful.) http://thehill.com/homenews/house/325865-report-ryan-pleaded-on-one-knee-for-obamacare-repeal-vote Ouch. Story it's referencing is here and was written during the run up to the vote cancellation: https://www.washingtonpost.com/powerpost/gop-health-care-plan-hangs-in-balance-as-house-leaders-push-for-thursday-floor-vote/2017/03/23/6e8bf05a-0fbd-11e7-9d5a-a83e627dc120_story.html?utm_term=.a64458cfcbc5 It's just a small moment of many, but it's a fairly iconic image of Ryan trying to be speaker.
