Roy Hibbert is gonna be having a field day for the rest of this series lol.

Wow Wade.... what the hell happened? Go Pacers! Close the series out.
|
Say it ain't so! I believe!!
Here's hoping that lebron and wade will somehow reinvent themselves and come through. That SI analysis seemed pretty legit. I hope LBJ can legitimize himself by having some sort of legendary performance, since right now he's "very very very good", but isn't particularly earth-shattering. I have no faith in the Miami bench so I'm just hoping on James/Wade.
Wow Wade.... what the hell happened? Wade also blew up at Spoelstra during one of the timeouts...poor Spoelstra, he's probably frantically trying to piece something together out of severely limited resources at this point...

I think that supporting role players responded rather good yesterday, with few exceptions. It was Wades whole game and Lebrons second half that ruined the outcome and ofc Indiana playing really good. They were taking jump shoots way too much, no attack to the basket at all. No FT's. Wade was hinting about some nagging injuries or health issues but come on, everyone is fucked up at this point by something.
Playing without Bosh reduces chance to win the series but not for 20 points come on. I hope they will look at the film and fucking man up and play like they know best. I don't mind geting blown away one time, but it better not be happening again!

I think the Heat would've been better off in Game 3 had Wade been suspended.
The biggest advantage for the Spurs is their bench. Stars can't play 40 minutes per game in the regular season. Pop did a good job resting his oldies by keeping them out of certain games and severely limiting their minutes. The DND - Old he gave Duncan was just awesome. Stars playing too much in the regular season are going to be gassed in the postseason. That's the biggest problem for both the Lakers and the Heat the past two years.
Last year, the Lakers started as one of the best teams in the league, even with Bynum injured. Gasol and Odom were playing around 40 minutes per game and got gassed around late December. They started free falling from that point and never really recovered. This year, Gasol was second in minutes played in the entire league and Kobe was barely out of the top 10 even after missing games late in the year because of injury.
For the Heat, Lebron played close to 45 minutes per game in the playoffs and was kinda running on fumes in the Finals. With Bosh out, fatigue is a bigger factor once again.

Definitely, but they also play the best basketball as well. It's just absolutely beautiful to watch. Would love to see it rewarded with the championship!

Spoelstra is always getting pushed around by his players lol, LeBron's shoulder bump from last season comes to mind.

I think if Heat fall to Pacers he's getting the boot, though tbh I give him props for trying to deal with 2 divas

Heat cancels todays practice and media availablity. Cool those heads and keep watching the damn film. Hoping for 2-2 on sunday.

Just found out that both Western Conference Series teams have to play back to back games.

They are completely different teams on each end of the court. So weird.

At this point it looks like Boston vs Pacers in the eastern conference finals, unless the Heat can seriously turn it around in these couple of days. And even then, if they emerge with a 4-3 win, they have Lebron on 40+minute games and the team in general will be exhausted as they come up against the Celtics, but yeah from what it seem like atm, seems to be shaping up to be Celtics v Pacers...(with Boston rolling in that case). Thunder and Spurs in the west imho, which will be a pretty good series but I'd give it to Thunder if they continue to play as well as they have.
Then it will *probably* be Thunder-Celtics finals with OKC rolling Boston imo. I really want to see a Thunder-Heat final though (with Miami prevailing :X)
I'm not as well-versed as almost everybody here, but just from my humble little observations/impressions, this is how I'm guessing it will turn out. Obviously I didn't really try to analyze the match-ups, player styles, coaching, home advantage, condition, clutch/nerves, etc etc but yeah, just my 2 (cheap) cents. Please prove me wrong and turn this series around Heat...
I don't know why I wrote all this, just felt like qqing a bit more about the Heat sucking and felt like sharing my minipredictions

Yeah, I dunno about it being better than the finals, but it'll be very interesting to see what kind of games that that western conference finals will produce :3

both the spurs and thunder have played well beyond what any eastern team has shown including heat and celtics. and thats why i think it will be better than the championship series.

Nono, of course you're right, I meant that I'm a biased heat fan sorry, I posted with "I dunno about it" sounding wry in my head but clearly unclear in my actual post.
Though it would be awesome if the Heat could show some really entertaining play too and perhaps convince you and that they'll make for a worthy/entertaining finals. At the moment though, yeah of course, spurs and thunder have been playing must more interesting and good basketball than any eastern teams, sad to say.

Wow, I thought it would be one sided.

i like the heat myself. but watching the games vs the pacers has really confused me about them. i didnt think bosh would make such a difference being out of the game. maybe they will change their tune, although it seems very unlikely at this point
