Hi! I'm a casual Starcraft 2 gamer who follows the pro-scene actively. My goal is to reach the diamond league before the end of this year. I started off at Bronze League but have since then been promoted twice into Gold. I hope you'll enjoy watching these games as much as i love playing them. Any help towards the stream or my actual gaming is always welcomed
Also, a shout out to the Road to Diamond Facebook group who is a very nice group for practice partners in the N.A. server. This is where i got the name from

It's like walking by a store and getting free samples just because you can. And I hate it.
Can't you just remove the streams which has been offline for a very long time? Cause I find no reason to keep about 1000 streams when there is about 25 % streaming or what it is. But of course, some people might want to start stream again after being off.

Personally, ive been trying to stream for th past 8-10 months and recently upgraded my bandwidth so i am able to stream, and stable stream at that. Now that i can stream, and am really digging down into laddering on SC2, i thought it be cool to stream my games for entertainment...and hardly educational reasons. Just bad timing to sign up to be a streamer i guess lol
The exact same thing happened to me. I just upgraded my internet and want to start streaming as well.
I have been watching streams here on TL for a very long time and personally I don't think that having ~30 streams online is a bad thing. I like a little variety in what I can watch.
As for the minimum post requirement... I have had my account for over a year now and have been viewing TL.net for more than double that. I only have about 30 posts but that doesn't mean I haven't been active on the site. I usually visit about a dozen times a day between checking the e-news/streams/forums but don't find it necessary to always be posting. I don't think there is a problem, just a growth in the community.

Maybe there should be a discussion thread on this process?

It really seems like it would just be better to delegate the tedious process of adding streams to more than one incredibly hard working person. I mean you can't expect Chill to be happy about spending more time adding streamers than the streamers will into their actual streaming process. Especially given the failure rate of streams on TL at the moment. It is pretty amazing reading through this thread and seeing so many first posts used to advertise their streams.
That being said I understand that a lot of people really enjoy streaming, and say if one in 10 or 50 become valuable streamers that can pull 500-1000 viewers, then it kind of is worth it for the community. Although if I was Chill I'd feel like shit if I went back through the thread and saw how many people didn't even stream after being added.
There definitely should be a discussion thread about changing the rules, but post-count dependent really isn't the way TL operates, the only time constant posting is acceptable is in Live-Report threads and it's pretty obvious who's just posting to increase their post count.
