hm ive downloaded tvants onto my office computer and were working with "trend micro officeScan" and he couldnt find any spyware nor any trojan. so i think its clean.
I hope this pisses off a lot of people hope not to offend anyone, but this occasion has inspired me to write a short verse about everyone's favorite player.

dropship for nada to 12 a clock but many sunkens there and he unloaded behind the minerals and was killed by lings....big armies camping in the center for both
nada's next ball mass gathers approaches zergman's choke, and another dropship heads towards the zerg man. zergman repels the terran attack AND PLAGUE OMG PLAGU.
zergman swats the 6 expo while making a relatively weak lurkerling swarm push on the terran. the push does next to no damage but oh well zergman is so sexy
another nada drop at the 12 expo and a simultaneous push on zergman's choke puts zergman back again... it doesn't look good. in fact the only thing that does look good is zergman. nada sieges behind natural, but OMG WHAT'S THIS ZERGMAN USES SWARM TO BREAK THE ATTACK AGAIN
nada moves an m&m sci army towards zergman's 12 oclock. the m&m army has been plagued but i doubt that will stop the hatchery from falling unless YES THERE'S A SWARM ZERGMAN IS AWESOME but yeah the hatchery fell
here comes a big push of m&m tank sci towards the zerg choke and zergman doesn't have many units. the m&m get plagued but even that can't stop nada... omg defiler use so sexy but alas zvt imba and poor zergman
NaDa has shown a lot of concentration. There isn't anything that is left out of his line of sight lately. He puts full concentration on his forces, scanning immediately when needed. His play is safe while flashy at the same time. And he diverts his attention between many things.
From the first match, he does a 6-7 way split of his wraiths while running from mutalisks. He does his old-school attack of using a dropship while his main forces are clashing with the zerg's main forces. Quite surprising for the zerg when he's doing all he can to stop a massive terran army to go back to his base, just to find that an expansion fell to a dropship-load of troops.
His game sense is increasing. How frighteningly cool.

the shuttle moves across the map, and two wraiths patrol around GF's nat. rock drops on the nat anyway and GF lifts and runs and deals with the shuttle-less reaver.
3 tanks, two rines, and one or two wraiths move to rock's nat. rock has about 6 goons and they're getting pounded on by siege tanks. oh shit the reaver kills a tank and the wraith is killing the reaver
rock breaks another contain by goodfriend, but goodfriend is sending more tanks, vults, scvs to reinforce. goodfriend keeps trying to retake the top platform above the nat.
rock begins to pump 2 gate carriers! can rock break the contain once again! nope he is forced back to his nat
hahahaha, Rock is getting bashed by the commentators. "What the, why would protoss gas rush like that?? Terran did not even need gas that early. Rock had no reason to waste assimilator money that early on."

Nada just played better the good parts where zergman showed something were actually when he was pressed next to the wall and he saved his ass, but there was no moment where u can say zergman has chance to win this
if he had gone reaver first he could have lost to a fast tank/gol drop in that island area (no shuttle to defend) and by going shuttle first he's vulnerable to M&M rush (no reaver)

Shuttles takes longer to build than the support bay. The reaver would have been out maybe 15 seconds earlier.
I'm not positive that he would have held off the MM, but he would have stood a chance, I suppose.
sure, but if you see such a rush comin and i think if u see such a mm force, wouldnt a cancel shuttle build reaver command be better then wait for the bloody shuttle to finish? i mean whats better to stick with your shuttle and loose the game or cancel, defend the atteck and build your shuttle later...

a sair kills an overlord, and a templar archive appears woohoo! anytime adds more gates, and his sairs harass overlords but gorush is prepared with hydras at his nat. gorush adds another hatchery and a spire.
many lurkers ready for gorush, but obs are also ready for anytime. gorush pushes back the zeal HT army, moving towards the 7 expo, but anytime forces him to burrow with zeal storm. hydraling rallying to anytime's 7 expo
AnyTime showed some crazy observer micro. If he just had 4-5 cannons at expo-7, he would have won the game, probably. Once expo-7 went down, AnyTime was confined in his base.
BARELY survives hydra onslaught. High Templar came out for AnyTime! Corsairs rape 3 overlords within seconds, halting supply. Perfect two storms from HTS! Zealots rush in and rape the rest of the hydralisks.
GoRush did not play this game badly in anyway. He had perfect offense. He attacked with mutas from one end, wanting AnyTime to waste units or cannons.
But AnyTime was patient, holding 3 corsairs over his expo-nexus, and only building cannons at his entrance.
Right before GORush attacked with mass hydralisks, AnyTime had a strong line of cannons and 14+ zealots with foot upgrades. He barely survives the hydralisk attack and HT's pop out right when the hydras retreat. All this time, ANyTime rapes a bunch of overlords.
Then moments later, AnyTime cleans up the hydras with templar and rushes towards GoRush's base.

He is one of the best protoss I have ever seen. People thought he just got lucky with DTs, but that is not the case. He has some of the best protoss control I have ever seen. Much better than any of the protoss I can think of right now. Maybe even better control than Nal_rA.
He has a very good eye too. He never misses anything when scouting.
Shit, I watched the game where Anytime lost and miss the last game where he freaking won. And I missed it while watching Band of Brothers which I watched already. Damnit, it's 5am and I'm rewatching band of brothers.
AnyTime has a huge mass of friends from his high school. He says he'll practice his ass off and go to the finals.
AnyTime was rooting for Iris. HAHA! He says that he is pissed that he has been meeting so many strong players. AnyTime's scalps: July, Casy, GGPlay, GoRush He has had no "easy" players. Now he has to play Midas. He says that his feelings hard hurt and he feels cheated.
Midas is almost crying. He said that he wanted to win so badly. He said he worked so damn hard to get to the final four. Now that he has reached that, he said that he'll be happy no matter what. He was disappointed when he lost to foreign players (WCG), so he worked super hard in order to win today. He was tired of losing.

Iris usualy beats Midas. I'm sure you would be insulted if somebody was rooting for you to win because he considered you weaker than your opponent (despite the fact that Midas is slightly better than Iris at TvP).

Well Iris should and probably knows Midas is better than him at that matchup so why would he be surprised AnyTime was hoping for him to win ? I think the players are aware of their own weakpoints and their strengths(the matchups etc).
Like would you be surprised if Yellow was hoping for Boxers opponent to beat Boxer in another semi(if yellow was already ready for the final) ?

True, Iris knows that his TvP is weaker. But if he did make it that far, he still wants to win just as badly against AnyTime. "Damn! I wanted YOU to win because I didn't want to fight against the other guy!" Especially since Iris can beat Midas himself.... (which doesn't really matter, but it's personal pride)
Especially since Midas and Iris are on par with each other for level and recognition. (Unlike Boxer vs. somebody else, it's not like AnyTime has lost to Midas an uncountable number of times)
Anyways, it was just a guess. He's probably not insulted... but neither is he happy to hear that from AnyTime.
It seems like most of the time the players say that they hope for the stronger opponent to win, to prove that they have what it takes to be(at) the best. Whether or not that's what they feel, who knows. Maybe AnyTime is being honest

Yeah, AnyTime is a strangely honest guy.
He is good humored; I like him. Funny guy, he complains about having to fight such strong names when he's the one who picked the hard road. He only has a couple more left to go.
Only a year ago, he was playing in amatuer leagues. He sure has practiced hard.

3/4 today and i'm so fucking glad that anytime won. i really hope he can win the whole thing, he so special... I think he has to prepare some crazy strats for the semis like he did vs oov. His path to the semis was terribly difficult, he met really strong players on his way...
btw, about superfight: i want ra vs anytime, and i don't care if it is mirror match-up...

That will make Legend Of Fall absolut Mystery if rA and Anytime win MSL and OSL simultaneously. The have both so hard semi final. Anyway I will root for PROTOSS as usual even it seems to be impossible.

Cheese is a relative term, obviously, but let's look at it this way: the build had a 66% probability of success *assuming* Rock went double nexus. There was no way for GF or Rock to scout each other's builds. It was *lucky*. The odds were carefully calculated, obviously, but it's still luck in the end. GF even called it that in the post-game interview.

Mind-boggling. Did you even think before posting this one, or did you just hit the button? Reavers in PvT are similar to mutalisks in ZvT: you're looking to keep the Terran in his base, kill some workers, maybe destroy a depot or two. But hey, you can't do any of those things if you suicide the fucking reaver and lose the shuttle. One of the things that professionals do that amateurs don't is not force the issue. If there's no potential for damage or you're in danger of losing the reaver, you back off. Rock has consistently done just the opposite--tried to make something happen and lost both shuttle and reaver. And if you want to discuss costs, consider this: support bay is 150/100, shuttle 200, and reaver 325/100. Yeah, GF really got shafted on that deal.
i dont really understand why u are all so impressed by anytimes 3rd game... from my point of view it looked like gorush just plain sucked. sure his pressure at the start was good, but i didnt really understand why he didnt expo and tech lurx and go for a macro game after like he killed the forge or sometime around there... even to me as a low lvl zerg user it was blatantly obvious he wouldnt be able to break anytimes defense and I doubted his sanity when he attacked with like 2-3 control grps of hydras against like 15 speedlots and mucho cannons. I totally saw that army being raped before the first hydra moved in t.t

Actually, you don't know much about starcraft. GoRush put all his money into hydras and had a good containment. If you watched the game, then you would see that AnyTime barely survived that attack. And once the cannons are gone, then hydras would most likely own the zealots. GoRush had a good timing, before the high templars came out. AnyTime's defense was just too good. Don't compare yourself to a progamer. -_-;;
dude actually i know nuff about starcraft.. my mainrace is zerg and i often play mass hydra against toss fe.. and just from looking at the situation i instantly knew that it wasnt nearly enough to break the toss defense. if it was a situation in one of my games i surely wouldnt have attacked. i dunno if u watched the same game but he didnt hold it off "barely". unless holding an attack off "barely" means u can steamroll ur zerg opponent after u fend off the attack just like that.. im afraid that only happens if the zerg army gets raped and not hold off "barely"...

Those games were so much fun to watch. I'm loving this OSL. At first, I was just excited seeing Anytime and nal_rA playing, but every game/series is turning out to be really fun to watch.
I really enjoyed watching Nada play the Impossible Vulture Control map, haha.

Actually, the reason why GoRush was steamrolled was because of storms. GoRush's timing was good in the sense that it was before high templars came out.
GoRush's main intent was to break through using hydralisks. So, by making only a few hydralisks and giving the illusion of using mutalisks in the beginning, GoRush tried to play AnyTime and make him spend money on creating anti-air units, such as more corsairs or dragoons.
The only reason why this failed was because of AnyTime's good sense and perfect scouting. If he had gotten scared of mutalisks, he would have wasted cannons in his base or near the minerals, or would have teched faster instead of just creating zealots. If AnyTime had taken the bait and created more dragoons and corsairs, then Gorush would have won.
If you see a lair/hydra den + spire, a likely tactic is to go lurkers while sniping down observers. Mass zealots isn't a good way to counter that, yet AnyTime was not fooled.
Why I'm saying this is because you say that GoRush sucked. -_-;;
On OGN broadcast games, a statistic was made from 11 games for Peaks: Protoss vs. Zerg : 100% Maybe GoRush thought that ending the game quickly was a better gamble to win than drawing it out and following the bad statistic for ZvP.
GoRush went allin, if it had worked people had went like "omg gorush owned anytime", since it didnt people are like "wtf did gorush attack all that stuff ?"
You need to realize he was commited the moment he stoped making drones.
