I try to make positive comments as much as possible but people like you have nothing better to do but provoke, provoke, provoke. Like I said before, there's far more whining about whining than actual whining these days and you're one of the most prolific. Not a single person was whining about balance in this thread, not one. A few protoss fans complaining about lings and that's it. But yet we have to have post after post in here complaining about zerg fan-whining when it never even happened in this thread! Seriously, some of you are just addicted to being aggrieved. :/

It's the same thing. Jaedong isn't going to let someone get away with 1 cannon no matter how good he is, especially off a 9 pool. Flash only takes risks like that in the BO with like 14 CC but jaedong beats flash tons with auto win vs 14 CC.

He seems to be winning games, but instead of being "aggressive" and winning with great management when it looks like the other player can hold (like he used to), he seems to be Kwanrolling it up and winning with the element of surprise, WHILE losing macro/management related games more and more often. I don't like this. I feel like he's slowly losing it and is only holding on because of management, surprise and the fact that a slumping Jaedong is still a bitch to beat. He should be kwanrolling more often because he gets predictable especially against Flash .

He still won because a) as you say, even an off-form Jaedong is a formidable opponent, b) Zerg has the edge over Protoss under current "metagame" conditions (state of the maps, state of "standard play") and c) Jaedong has the mental edge over Stork (Jaedong has the mental edge over everyone but Flash; plus Stork has a history of choking when the stakes are highest). Is it just me or is Jaedong not really in form anymore? He seems to be winning games, but instead of being "aggressive" and winning with great management when it looks like the other player can hold (like he used to), he seems to be Kwanrolling it up and winning with the element of surprise, WHILE losing macro/management related games more and more often. I don't like this. I feel like he's slowly losing it and is only holding on because of management, surprise and the fact that a slumping Jaedong is still a bitch to beat. I imagine that part of the reason Jaedong was off-form in this series is that he was just coming off a devastating loss to Flash in the MSL finals. Jaedong takes major losses even harder than most pro-gamers--he's said more than once that second place is no better than losing in the early rounds, as far as he's concerned, and recently, Flash has been his roadblock. Even in his post-game interview for this match, Jaedong said that the loss to Flash was still weighing on him. When you say "not in form anymore", are you thinking of anything besides his last two matches, and/or do you think that showing something less than his very best play for two matches means that Jaedong is going into a slump? If you think that, you probably haven't been following Starcraft for too long, because if there is one thing that sets Jaedong apart from other progamers, it's his mental strength. He's proven that too many times to start doubting now. JD does take losses badly, and sometimes that has an impact on his play for maybe the next week (I'm thinking of his losses in the PL Grand Finals two seasons ago), but he always comes back stronger than ever. If Flash makes it to the finals again (although I actually give Free a decent chance of pulling the upset), trust me, Jaedong will have all the motivation he needs to play better than we've ever seen him. I'm not the first to note this, but these two players (JD and Flash) are often most dangerous when they have something to prove. It's not like this series was even the first time in this OSL that Jaedong showed us something less than he was capable of (while still pulling through). I had the same sense watching his games against Kal in the first round. Maybe JD's ridiculous dominant streak against Protoss gives him a little extra leeway to coast when he's preparing for those match-ups. In any case, whether the other finalist turns out to be Free or Flash (I'm weakly rooting for Free, because like so many others here, I'm starting to get tired of watching the same people every final, no matter how good they are), I think the upcoming finals will be one to remember.

The attack went well so I could win easily. From his game here: http://www.teamliquid.net/tlpd/korean/games/35247_free_vs_Jaedong
