Following my survey just a couple of weeks ago about creating an online replay analyzer / sharing site, I've decided to make it a reality. After a month of work, I'm presenting to you
repmastered.appA StarCraft: Brood War game database, replay sharing and analyzer site.(click on the images for larger views)
Features
The following is a brief list of repmastered.app's main features.
Multi-replay upload
You can easily upload single or multiple replays at once on the Upload page. You may select a single or multiple replays in a folder. You may also select a folder, and all replays within it will be uploaded (recursing down to subfolders too). You can upload hundreds (or maybe thousands) of replays with the folder feature with a few clicks.
Replay and game detection
The site detects and handles if the same replay is uploaded multiple times, so you don't have to worry about that. Uploading the same replay multiple times does no harm.
The site also detects and handles if multiple replays of the same game are uploaded, replays from multiple participants of a game. In fact, it is encouraged to upload replays even if the game already exists due to someone else's replay from the game. Having multiple replays of the same game allows to obtain and display more accurate information.
Comprehensive replay analyzer
A comprehensive replay analyzer right in your browser to show you what's inside replays without having to download and watch. This includes:
- Showing key information about the game
- Presenting highly customizable charts (like APM, EAPM, Hotkeys, Build Orders, Strategy)
- Summary about players
- An animated map view of the game (showing builds over time). It's like re-playing your game right in your browser!
- A Build Orders table
- Chat of the game
- All of the commands issued by the players during the game, with inefficiency classification
Replay tagging
You may upload replays anonymously, but it's recommended to Login first, so replays uploaded by you will be tagged automatically with "↑ My Uploads". There are several additional builtin, system tags that you can apply on games, such as "❤ Favorite", "👍 GG", "👎 BM", "😂 LOL", "😲 WOW". You can also add your own tags and fully customize them. You can hide / unide any tags at any time–even the builtin, system tags. On the Games page you can select tags to list and filter your tagged games easily.
In-depth statistics
All kinds of stastics are gathered automatically from Players, Maps and Matchups. These include number of games, record (wins-losses-unknown), races used, first and last games, weighted average APM and EAPM, average game length etc. Player and Map profile pages even break down these statistics by matchups, races, formats and game types. Player profile pages also list the top playmates, with a link to list all playmates of the player.
Easy navigation, Popups
Many entities such as Players, Maps, Matchups, game formats, types, game dates have popups wherever they are displayed. Clicking on these entities displays a popup with items to quickly go to Player and Map profile pages, list games of the entity, copy their name to the clipboard, or set them as filters when appropriate.
Passwordless login
You can use the site anonymously, but it's recommended to Login. repmastered.app uses passwordless authentication: you never have to enter any passwords. You provide your email address, and a one-time entry code is emailed to you. You verify your email and login by copying the entry code from the email sent to you.
Sharable pages and links
You can save and share any link / page of repmastered.app. The link also "remembers" which tab you have had opened on the Game details, or which search terms you have entered on the Games page, along with the results page number.
Settings
The site offers a fair amount of options and settings to customize charts and the map view. These settings are saved and remembered locally (in your browser) even if you are not logged in.
User specific settings (including custom tags) can be viewed / edited on the Settings page (requires login).
As a sign of "good faith", I've uploaded all my past replays that I could find. This means more than 12 thousand replays! Most of them is from the age before SC2, and most of them is played on BGH. If you played BGH back in those days, it's likely you're included in some of my games. You can check my main player's profile page here: Dakota_Fanning
Some of my old replays "feature" BGH legends like kOOlam (aka kural), Merf (aka JacksonMichael) etc.

Thanks Dakota, this looks great!
Do you have any other planned features, or do you consider it "complete" for now?
|
May I ask, in the map animation, it only shows buildings, can it also show units? I was always dreaming of a way not watching replays logging into the game but if possible on a website on the go. Could something like this happen? Also if your replay section gets flooded by users the pages would be endless. Maybe make some sections for the users to put replays with sections like "very close game" "very cheesy game" I dunno just an idea I would like to throw out.

Units cannot be displayed on the map accurately, because the replay does not have enough information about unit positions. That would require recreating the game engine, which is obviously not feasible.
There are already many thousand games in the database, it is obviously not all for the human eye. By default, the latest games are displayed (games are sorted by replay date descending), and you can use filters (like players, map, matchup, your tags etc) to quickly find games you're interested in.
Replay tagging is already implemented, but for now there are only 2 tags: "My Uploads" and "Favorites". The former is automatic (replays you upload while logged in gets tagged with your "My Uploads"), and the "Favorites" is manual: you can tag any replay as your favorite. It's easy to add new tags, and I plan to do so. And you can list / filters replays with your tags (e.g. you can list your favorites only, and you can filter them further by players, maps etc.).

website not available now? i could get on it earlier with different computer but not now.... edit: works again
would like a way to separate 1v1 from 2v2 and others (3v3, bgh) for example
a feature i would love to have but very hard to implement would be a way to read the "build order" data of the game and present it as an actual build order name (for example just saying "3 hatch muta" in a ZvT), this build order name should then be displayed on the games list and would make it able to search for very specific games (for example 3 hatch muta vs +1 5 rax)
|
The thing it does is you can now easily find out who is who on fast nick etc. because you can just click on the nick and see all other games with that person. :o (as long as database is big)
Edit: seems bonyth uploaded all his replay or someone uploaded all his replays? ;

Filtering by 1v1, 2v2 etc seems a fair request, but it's not always obvious: often there are observers who don't participate in games, and there are the melee games where there isn't a predefined format. Will think about it how to solve it reasonably.
Extracting named build orders is indeed a non-trivial task, given that replays do not store the success of commands (e.g. it's not possible to tell if an issued "Build Pylon" command was carried out successfully, or the probe was killed on its way to the destination).
About website availability: the site is only hosted over secure HTTPS protocol, but not over HTTP. Today's browsers should automatically use HTTPS if the website's domain is .app (like repmastered.app). Attempting to explicitly use HTTP won't work.
|
for 1v1, 2v2 filtering, you can perhaps look at who's actually building stuff?

Time for some updates.
Added a News page so changes and new features can easily be tracked.
New Build Orders chart. It visualizes builds and their build times (duration) over time. See the first post for an example image.
New Strategy chart. It is similar to the Build Orders chart. For now it displays the following strategy actions: Expand (when Nexus, CC or Hatchery is built), Defense (when Bunker, Cannon, Sunken or Spore is built), Drop (when unload commands are given), Recall, Scan, Nuke (when Nuke is launched) and Nydus (when Nydus is built).

awesome! I uploaded a few replays to see how it works. Looks great

Amazing man, thanks for the awesome work! You should team up with MasterReY and work together as your both doing the same thing it seems, Amazing work!!
EDIT : I just uploaded entire replay folder, you're a boss.

This is glorious! So much appreciated!

Time for another update.
Added the Settings page. You can review / edit user settings on this page (requires login).
Full Tags support!
- Extended the builtin system tags: "↑ My Uploads", "❤ Favorite", "👍 GG", "👎 BM", "😂 LOL", "😲 WOW"
- Added colors to tags
- You can add / edit / delete your own, custom tags which you can fully customize. You can set its colors, and enter a note which gets displayed as a tooltip.
- The Game details page now contains a Tags bar at the top which lists all tags. Tagging / untagging games is just a single click!
- You can hide / unhide any tags at any time. Hidden tags are not displayed anywhere, but associated games are kept. You can even hide builtin, system tags.

Not only does this rival BWChart but its much better.

I really like this site. Would be great if search would work on approximate find, not only exact match. (e.g searching "La mancha" would give all La Manacha games, now it returns nothing as you need to type "La Mancha 1.1")

It's update time!
Added in-depth statistics!
A new Players page.
This page lists players found in games, and shows summary statistics for each such as number of games, record (win-loss-unknown), win %, average APM, race distribution (races used), time played, first and last games. Clicking on the "Details" link takes you to the player's profile page where you can view further, more detailed stats about races used, formats, game types, 1v1 matchup and maps.
A new Maps page.
This page lists maps with summary statistics such as games count, average game length, first and last games. clicking on the "Details" link takes you to the map's profile page with further stats about races, formats, types and 1v1 matchups.
A new Matchups page.
This page lists matchups with summary statistics such as games count, average game length, first and last games.
And more:
- The Players, Maps, Matchups pages also have direct links to list games for each entity.
- Links to Player and Map profile pages can be shared, just like every other link inside repmastered.app.
- You may enter multiple players / maps / matchups in the search fields and all will be listed, so you can quickly compare them.
- Players tab in the Game details now has links to the players' profile pages.
- Map tab in the Game details now has a link to the map profile page.
If you want to see all these stats about your player, just upload your replays and you'll be able to.

It's update time again!
Extended searches have arrived!
Map and player searches have been extended, you can now choose if you want to search by exact, prefix, substring or regexp match. This is available on the Games, Players and Maps pages.
Exact matching remains the default, choosing "Map / Player starting with" will find all players or maps that start with the entered text, and choosing "Anywhere in map / player" will find all players or maps where the entered text is part of the name.
Regexp has its own art, you may find countless online tutorials, regexp matching gives you the power to find maps and players by any pattern. For example to find players that have 3 digits in the middle of their names (not at the beginning nor at the end), you could use the regexp: \D+\d{3}\D+
When entering multiple players or maps (separated by comma), the selected matching rule will apply to all individually.
Made further improvements to the replay parser engine to detect winners more accurately in Melee games.

Hey great work Dakota_Fanning,I was wondering if it was possible to see the players use of F2, F3 and F4 keys. Its just useful to see how good certain players are or for teaching/learning purposes. Just as we can see the 0-9 Hotkeys. I guess for people to watch the old replays they will need Stacraft 1.16.1 and that old 7x patcher too.
|
Aweseome stuff! Would be cool if we could click on player names in the replay view to search for their replays, or to go to their profile.
Edit: that "Stretch tables" thing doesn't do anything? Not sure if it's a bug, or just not applicable to the specific replay.
Edit2: do you remove the first like 2 minutes for calculating APM? (to avoid counting the warmup spam)
Would be cool if you could do an EAPM thingy, where it doesn't count things towards apm if: 1. There's selects one after the other, without a command followup. 2. There's 0-9 control group spam, without being followed by a command. 3. If there's a command like move or attack spammed near the same point on the map. There's probably some other things I'm forgetting.
Another interesting thing to maybe add, is a "Macro" chart, like in BWChart, that counts only macro actions, and is shown by a filled out graph (and on top of it is the total apm graph).

can u do option to keep your reps hiden from public?

Screen movements (including F2-F3-F4 hotkeys) are not recorded in replays, so based on replays it's not possible to show them.

Another interesting thing to maybe add, is a "Macro" chart, like in BWChart, that counts only macro actions, and is shown by a filled out graph (and on top of it is the total apm graph). Your suggestion is already implemented. If you're on a Game details page (a replay viewer), select the Players tab. This contains a table, and the player names link to the games of the player. The last column is Links. It contains a Stats link, clicking on it opens the Player's profile page.
The "Stretch tables" option controls if tables are stretched to the full width of the window. If the content in the table already makes it occupy the full width, this option will not do anything noticeable. Try it on a page where the table is smaller than your window.
Currently no time window is excluded from APM calculation. This is also how Blizzard calculates APM.
And I plan to add EAPM.

This is super sick! Thanks for putting this together man,

I really love this app, but one thing that would be cool to able to be able to customize the sorting of search results, so for example it would be possible to sort results by game length

Hey man great work. Do you maybe intend to open source the project? So that others could maybe help you with the coding etc.? And another benefit would be that one could host the whole thing on his/her server and have an own private instance of it.

It's that time again!
Goodbye links, hello Popups!
Reduced the "links-hell" on the Games page. The links are gone for good, and they are replaced by Popups. Clicking on Player names, maps etc. will now open a small popup which allows you to set it as the filter.
The new Popups also give you the possibility to go to the Player and Map profile directly, or copy the names to the clipboard among other things!
You can now also quickly set the type of the listed games as the filter, with popups of course.
Game dates also received a popup, so you can quickly set the game date filter either as "Date from" or "Date to".
The Popups are also added to the Game details, Players, Maps and Matchups pages (so basically to everywhere).
Switched colors of Protoss and Terran used in race distributions on the Players and Player profile pages to match Liquipedia's colors.

This is what I'm saying, the Stretch Tables checkbox doesn't do anything on this page, even though the table contents take just half the screen. I think that's because the "table" isn't a table. I guess you can remove the checkbox in this page?
Also, I was talking about being able to click on the player names here (I put them in the red squares in the picture). But I then I guess you wouldn't be able to toggle the checkbox by clicking the names.
Great work, thanks a lot!

If you click on the Players or Chat or Build Orders or Commands tabs, they do have a table and the option should stretch those. If you mean something else, please post a picture of the whole page including the table.
As to those Player checkboxes: yes, those are to toggle the players (whether they are included in the below tabs). If you want a Popup, it's available on the Players tab. Player names in the Players tab have popups.

Time for another update.
Playmates statistics have arrived!
There is a new Playmates page which lists players who played in the same games. You can now see who players play with (or vs) the most, and you can see their records as allies (With) and as opponents (VS).
"List Playmates" has been added to player profiles, so you can quickly list playmates anywhere where players are displayed.
The Playmates page contains 2 players filters: Player A and Player B. To quickly find playmates of someone, simply enter his / her name into Player A.
To find playmates of multiple players, list them all in Player A.
To find a player pair, enter one player into Player A, an the other into Player B.
You may list multiple players in both A and B, and all combinations between A and B will be listed.
Player profile pages now also list the top playmates of the players.
Want to see who you played with or against the most? If you upload your replays, you will.

And another major update.
EAPM has arrived!
Finally EAPM has arrived and became a first-class citizen!
New EAPM and Redundancy columns on the Players tab of Game details.
Players page and Player profiles now also list players' EAPM and Redundancy.
APM chart of Game details now has the option to draw EAPM chart too (it's on by default, can be toggled).
Commands tab of Game details has a new column: Inefficiency Reason which shows for every commands if and why they are considered ineffective.
Added 3 new entries to the FAQ page about APM, EAPM and Redundancy.
There has been numerous minor updates.
These include adding Sessions to the Settings page, adding collapsible blocks, icons and more. You can read the details on the News page.

I'm not planning on supporting private replays, there is no popular demand for it. Before creating repmastered.app, I conducted a survey and there was also almost zero interest toward supporting private replay. Maybe later if there's popular demand for it.

Ladder maps are TvB on saves so by searching for ladder games of others you have to dig through fastest maps and what not. I would suggest tweeking that so finding competitive 1v1 ladder reps are more easily accessible. Still a great fucking website! Thanks for the post.

Will u make an option to keep your reps private or this is something that u are not going to invest any time ?
I'm not planning on supporting private replays, there is no popular demand for it. Before creating repmastered.app, I conducted a survey and there was also almost zero interest toward supporting private replay. Maybe later if there's popular demand for it. Okay. in your survey thread there are 3 replies (apart from you) and it has little to do with your app.So I dont think is that representative of popular demand. In fact Spx and myself were the one coming to your small test the day u asked for help.Anyway thanks for your answer. I think what u have done is pretty cool. There are 3 replies there but there are polls having more votes. In the 2nd poll, there are 19 votes, only 2 saying private replays would be needed. Popular demand implies you make your voice / opinion heard. do u want apple pie? do you want strawberry pie? (might not be free ) xD I have to pay for every resource. Public replays benefit all, everyone can see them, analyze them, download them, and they are included in public statistics.
Private replays benefit only you. No one but you can see them and statistics gathered from them. I absorb and pay for the public good. But it's not by accident you don't want your replays made public, so I think it's reasonable that you would have to pay for private replays and statistics.

Are you able to see who smurfs are with the lIlIlIlIlIlIl barcode names by using the App by any chance? All of the barcode's are so annoying lol

Again one of those updates...
Improved Melee game analysis and 👁️Observer detection
Alliance and Vision commands now list the slot IDs players form alliance and share vision with, and whether they have Allied Victory checked.
Alliance commands are now processed in Melee games to detect formed alliances. Based on detected teams, matchups are now properly reported, winner detection is improved by nature.
Melee games often have players that only observe, which is now detected and excluded from the matchup and statistics. Observers are indicated with an 👁️ icon, and are turned off by default in the game analyzer.
Balanced Formats!
So far handled formats only included 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and Other. This list is now extended with all balanced formats, so you can search for them and see statistics gathered for each. Balanced formats include for example 1v1v1, 2v2v2, 2v2v2v2 etc.

Long time since any major update, so here's one.
Map Preview Images
Small map preview images have been added to the 📹Games and 🗺️Maps pages, and also to the Maps table of Player profiles. Clicking on the small preview image will open a large preview in a popup.
Large, collapsible map preview images have been added to the Map profiles pages.
Other minor fixes, style and performance improvements.

Since broodwall.com has vanished, do you think it would be viable to extend the maps page and allow users to add wall pictures to it?

More stas...
Activity, Trend and Popularity stats
Added Activity and Trends tables to Player profiles. These tables show stats of players based on calendar years. A second table with more details is collapsed by default.
Added Popularity table to Map profiles. This shows how many games were played on the map in each calendar year.
Background of these new tables form bar charts (proportional to the cell values).
Maps displayed on Player profiles is now limited to 50 by default to speed up profile pages. You can click on the show all link if you want to see the complete map list of the player. When all maps are displayed, you can click on the show less link to display only the top 50 maps.

Summary of recent updates: Classes...
Player and Map Classes
Added a Player class filter to the 👨Players page. Using this filter you can now view Human and Computer players in separate lists. Selecting ALL will list all players.
Added a Map class filter to the 🗺️Maps page. Using this filter you can now quickly filter to Low money, Big game and Fastest maps. Default is ALL, listing all maps.
Added the class of players and maps to all player and map profiles. The class name is a link pointing to the 👨Players or 🗺️Maps page, filtering to the same class.
Added 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 matchup statistics to all map profiles.

Thanks for this, but for now it is quite inconvenient. I tried to make it better by writing a browser userscript. The script adds ability to sort matchup tables by different columns (winrate, num games etc). It also adds an option to group data by race combination, what especially useful for 3v3 or 4v4, so the tables look compact (see screenshot).
For those who want to use it - go this link.

Column headers have popups which contain items for sorting in ascendant or descendant order. Most tables on player and map profiles are sortable, and also the Players table in the Game analyzer and the Sessions table on the ⚙️Settings page.
This may or may not interfere with t1mz_'s script, haven't checked yet.

New replays, but yeah it'd have to be limited to 30 or so perhaps and limit to player replays (no cpu).

If someone uploads new (new as not yet in the database) replays from years back, are they considered "new" replays? Or "new" that would come to the top of the list (sorted by game played date)?

Yeah I'm uncertain about it. Was just thinking like recent replays, if that's curated interesting ones or not. Just a thought. I don't wish to pollute this topic further. Perhaps we'll take it to DMs. Cheers!

Player aliases, COMBINED players and Profile stats!
Now when you search for players on the 👨Players page and the results are no more than 20 players, <COMBINED players> stats will be displayed automatically. The combined stats are calculated as if all the games were played by a single player. So if you list multiple accounts of a person, you can see summarized, aggregated statistics for that person. The COMBINED players also has a Profile link, which will take you to the COMBINED profile page, showing all the details you can get for a single player.
You can now define Player aliases on the ⚙️Settings page. You can quickly load your saved aliases lists on the 👨Players page and see individual and combined statistics for the players.

This is a very nice feature! I remember I asked you if it was possible a few week ago and you made it. I already linked a few aliases. It was also quite easy to do! Thanks alot! GG

Also note that while the website itself is not open source, many of its parts are. Mainly the replay parser engine which is available at https://github.com/icza/screp.

▤Map Leaderboards!
Added a new ▤Leaderboards page. This page shows you player statistics on certain maps. If you filter to a certain map, you'll see the map leaderboard, namely the list of players who played the most on the map. If you filter to a certain player, you'll see the maps the player played the most.
Top Leaderboard entries have been added to Map profiles, with a link to list the complete map leaderboard.
Leaderboard items have been added to Player and Map popups.

Would be nice if players can self identify so that different usernames can populate under the same profile- other option would be able to add multiple players in a list to see their stats accumulated

See a few posts above titled Player aliases, COMBINED players and Profile stats! Without logging in, you may list multiple players on the Players page, and the first row will be the COMBINED stats. You may click on the Profile link to see all details that you can for a single profile.
If you login, you may list your AKAs on the Settings page, even for multiple players, which will be saved and you can quickly load those AKA lists on the Players page.

Columns that support client side sorting (typically tables in profile pages) have a ▼ suffix (indicating the element has a popup that can be activated by clicking on it). Click on them and you'll see a popup to sort by that column, either ascending or descending. Note: not all tables have client-side sorting. Scroll down in profiles, e.g. Race stats, Type stats, Format stats, matchups, Maps stats all have sorting.
P.S. Those screenshots were not posted by me, those are added by an extension. My built-in sorting is somewhat similar though.

I noticed that it said on the site, possibly in the FAQ, that replays with "wrong" dates are not kept. I have a couple of questions about that.
1. Why does the incorrect date get stored during otherwise innocuous games? 2. Why do you not save them? 3. Is there any way to "fix" the wrong date bug?
More questions:
4. How do you handle hacker replays and replays with modern BW AI such as those from SSCAIT and etc? 5. What does "failed to parse replay" mean? Is that replay corrupted? Why do replays get corrupted? 6. When detecting duplicates, does that include duplicates from multiple player POVs? For example. if my teammate and I win a 2v2 and both upload the replay, that wouldn't be considered a duplicate, right?

1. The game host's current time is recorded and used as the replay date, which is not guaranteed to be valid / in sync with the real time and with others'. 2. They screw up statistics. 3. I don't think so. I mean, replays could be altered and I could use an alternate time instead of the parsed wrong time, but there isn't a way to tell what the "right" time should or would be.
More answers:
4. Hacker and AI reps are handled just like any other reps. Note that players and maps are classified. There is a player class for bots, so by default they are listed separately from human and computer players. You may select / filter by map and player class on the Maps and Players pages. Note that you have the possibility to select "<ALL>" class in which case all maps and players are listed, in one "giant" list.
5. "Failed to parse replay" means the replay parser engine was not able to parse the replay. It may be the replay is corrupted, it may be the file is not even a replay file (it was just named with .rep extension), or it may be the engine is "faulty". The engine was written by me without any replay specification existing, and without any help from Blizzard. Basically a trial and error procedure. But most of the time it's because the replay is corrupted. A replay may get corrupted due to many reasons. A replay is just a series of binary data in a file, which may get altered intentionally or by accident (e.g. disk or network read / write error).
6. Yes, duplicates are detected in all cases. Meaning it's detected if the same replay file is uploaded multiple times, and it's also detected if multiple replays of the same game are uploaded. If multiple replays of the same game are uploaded, that will still be listed as a single game. Information from those multiple replays may be used to deduce more accurate information from the game (e.g. chat from multiple teams, more accurate winner detection from longer replays etc.). So it is recommended to upload all replays you can get your hands on, it doesn't matter if the replay or the game already exists. repmastered.app is "intelligent" enough to detect those cases.

6. That might be one of the coolest things about this service! I was wondering how it was possible that I was getting all these duplicates from replays which I almost certainly never uploaded and shared anywhere. That makes sense, then. Thank you for all of the answers!

4. Player and map classification is based on name. Players and maps are classified, not individual games (since this classification and filtering is available on the Players and Maps pages).
6. Those duplicates may also be the result of you having public replays of "famous" players in your collection , which most certainly are already in the database.

Another question: Is there a max amount of aliases you can choose? I've been going back in time through my uploads and adding aliases as I go along; when I was at 10, I did a test run and it combined them nicely. Now that I am up to 26, it is not letting me see combined stats. Am I missing something?

Really kinda awe-inspiring to look back at all these names, these games, the names of people I'd played with, etc. The hours spent, the years gone by. Recommend for anyone who has a lot of reps! Will take you for a nostalgic trip, for sure.

The New Blood Bath Advance 1 map stepped forward to the honorable #34 position amongst Low money maps, #82 amongst all maps.
Even the original Blizzard Blood Bath is at position #40 amongst Low money maps, and #88 globally.

its new blood bath advance 1.37 , do I have to search the exact name to see it? Was confused nothing was coming up yesterday
Interesting to see that T is the worst race on BB hahah all those people always saying its a T map dont know shit.
Even the 2v2 stats show PP or PX teams in the lead.
Wait why does it list 3v3 and 4v4 ?
cool my old account is on here too, is there a way to link multiple nicknames into 1 profile? Ive had like half a dozen handles I used https://repmastered.app/player/"Eye-Loser"

Ive had like half a dozen handles I used https://repmastered.app/player/"Eye-Loser" The replay header has a limited-size field to store the map name, that's why the 7 is cut off from the end.
On the Maps page you can search by exact match, by prefix, by substring and even by regular expression, you can choose the type before the search field. For example here are all maps that contain "blood bath": All Blood Bath maps (there are almost 40 of them!)
Also note that if you visit a map profile page, that page parses the full Scenario name and description and displays it, so you can see the full map name is New Blood Bath Advance 1.37, here: New Blood Bath Advance 1
If you check any of the 3v3 or 4v4 games on this map, you'll see they are all UMS games, probably with observers, so that's how that is "possible".
And yes, you can combine players to see summarized, aggregated statistics. To do that, simply list all the players you want to combine on the Players page. List them separated by comma. If the search results are less than 50, the first line in the search results will be Combined players, with a Profile link that will show you all the details of the combined players.
For example if you want to combine these 3 players: SpoR, CharlieMurphy, Eye-Loser Here is the link to the combined player profile: SpoR, CharlieMurphy, Eye-Loser combined
Also note that if you login (no password needed, entry code sent via email), you can save your AKA lists on the Settings page, and you can simply select / load them on the Players page, you don't have to enter them every time. You can add multiple AKA lists, not just your AKAs.

투혼 Korean language support: ㅈㅈ
Added Korean language support for parsing texts from replays!
Invalid texts are now parsed using Korean encoding. As a result, some maps have been merged (e.g. "투혼 1.3" and "ȥ1.3") and some players splitted.
Game titles, chats, map names and descriptions should now be more "readable" 😂 (at least for those who speak Korean).

Global Stats!
Seeing that top 🗺️Maps have tens of thousands of games each (#1 | iCCup | Fighting Spirit even has more than a hundred thousand games!), it's obvious repmastered.app has many replays.
But have you ever wondered how many is that many? Wonder no more! I've created a Global Stats page where you can find the concrete and up-to-date numbers and other interesting stats. The link is added to the footer of the site.

IDEA: Time-limited private replays
I know many of you don't upload replays because you don't want "competition" to look into your replays and analyze your plays.
I have this idea: time-limited private replays. What does this mean?
When uploading replays, you could indicate you want the replays to be private. The replays would still be listed and included in all statistics, so people could check your player profile and see your APM, what maps and races you play etc. But the replays would be disabled in the replay analyzer (so no one could analyze the game), and no one could download the replay, no one except the owner (uploader) of the replay.
Now on to the time-limited part. The replay would not remain private forever. The replay would become public automatically 1 year after the replay date (when it was played, not when it was uploaded).
Would this be an acceptable compromise to those who "fear" to upload their replays? The 1 year limit is subject to discussion but I think longer period would be a bad idea.
Poll: Would you upload your reps with time-limited private option available?Yes, that would be cool. (2) 29% No, time-limited is still not good enough for me, I need private-forever. (1) 14% I don't need private option, I upload my reps anyway. (4) 57% 7 total votes Your vote: Would you upload your reps with time-limited private option available? (Vote): Yes, that would be cool. (Vote): No, time-limited is still not good enough for me, I need private-forever. (Vote): I don't need private option, I upload my reps anyway.

Summary of recent updates:
Replay Chooser, Global Stats improvements, Game Search by Length and Avg APM!
Global ∑Stats page now shows stats broken down by Map class, and you can also filter by Year and Map class.
Added Record and Win % columns to the 🆚Matchups page.
Added 2 new search fields to the 📹Games page: Length and Avg APM.
Added a Replay Chooser dropdown list to game analyzers that have multiple replays available (from multiple participants of the game). The selected replay will be analyzed on the page, so this allows you for example to read chat from multiple teams without having to download all replays. The Download link now downloads the selected replay (previously there were multiple download links, one for each replay).

Summary of recent updates:
📅Events and Tournaments!
repmastered.app contains a tremendous amount of replays. It was hard to find certain replays of tournaments. Up until now.
There is a new 📅Events page. With this, repmastered.app now also becomes an Event database.
This new page lists all kinds of StarCraft: Brood War events and tournaments around the world with decent filtering capabilities (like Category, Event, Tour, Start date). You can also quickly visit the tournament home pages.
You can quickly list games belonging to certain events, which you can filter / narrow down further with all game filters you can use otherwise.
There is also an Event profile page for each event, which gives you all kinds of statistics for the event, including: -Summary info about the event. -Maps played in the event. -Players participated in the event, sorted by results. -Race, Format, Length, APM and Matchup stats calculated from the event's games. Direct links are displayed to easily list games assembling certain statistics.
The Game details page displays the event if the game belongs to an event.
Please note that adding events is a manual process. I'm starting with a handful of tournaments, and they are being added continuously.

Can you add following feature? Search the data base by original ingame lobby name? You display the lobby name in the Analyze Replay site, so it should be possible
Also if you could change the naming of the replays that would be awesome. Right now, when you download a replay then it has a very long random letters name. But SC:R does not like too long replay names, so you gotta rename them. This on the other hand provokes the corruption of the replay (renaming too often, at least that is my impression). Would be probably the best if you could keep the name (of the replay when it is uploaded) and in case the name of the replay is already in the database, just add a "-1" or so to the replay name. Sadly a lot of replays I download from repmastered are corrupted nowadays and I think this is one of the reasons why
Also being able to sort the replays by length, would be quite a nice addition

Starcraft is not capable of handling most of older versions. You can't do anything about that, if you want to watch them, you have to use an older version of Starcraft.
I could change the name of the downloaded file, but as said above, it won't help in terms of corruption.
You can already filter replays by length (not sort but filter).

I am quite certain that renaming a replay too often leads to the corruption of the replay. Especially when the name of the replay exceeds the allowed character limit in SC:R. Would be nice if you could change the naming. I am sure you cannot change it for all the replays that are already uploaded, but maybe for newly uploaded replays? Just to be sure? Also it would help when using repmastered replays, cause it is easier to remember a real repname instead of "uiguiZCFDzfzgJKuzjfUFZDCUJZf.rep", if you understand what I mean.
Ye you can filter by arbitrary limits (i.e. 10-20 Minutes etc), but sorting by length in a list of replays, would be a really cool and useful feature. Also maybe if you could add a possibility to exclude showing replays that are less than 1 minute long, that would be really nice, too.
I am really big fan of your project, btw. Thank you for it

Also maybe if you could add a possibility to exclude showing replays that are less than 1 minute long, that would be really nice, too. I am really big fan of your project, btw. Thank you for it I'm 100% sure just renaming a replay does not corrupt it. Long names might cause trouble, but not renaming the replay file itself.
Adding new sort or filter options requires considerable server resources, so I don't plan to extend the current list of sort and filter options for now.
Serving replay downloads under a different name does not require renaming anything on the server side. The server can suggest a file name when serving a replay content, which may be generated from the game date, map etc. I'll consider this.

Summary of recent updates:
Download Reconstructed .scx Maps From Replays!
Added a new ↓Download .scx map link to the Game details page. With this link you can download the map the game was played on, and you can start new games on the map! The map is reconstructed from the replay. So if you love old maps which you wish to play again but you lost the maps, upload the replays to repmastered.app and you can download the maps from the replays!
Added a Download this map link to map profiles too. This will download the map reconstructed from a "random" replay played on the map. Note that maps with same name might not be identical, but you can download the concrete map used in any game.
Map Class Distribution and Stats!
Added a Map classes column to the Players table on the 👨Players page and player profiles. This column is similar to the Races column, but instead shows distribution of games played on maps of different map classes, telling at a glance whether a player is a low-money map player, a BGHer, fastest player or prefers custom (UMS) games.
Added Map class stats to player profiles which shows statistics of games played on maps of different map classes.
Added a Class column to the Top maps table on player profiles. This column shows the map class of the maps. You can also sort the table by this column.
Map names are now colored based on the map class everywhere they are displayed.
Zoom Map Preview on Profiles!
Added a Zoom setting on Map profiles for the map preview images. By default preview images will appear with a fixed width to not distort the profile page. You have the option to zoom the preview image to larger, smaller or to the original size.
Remastered Colors and Names!
Made some significant improvements to the replay parser engine. As a result: Player colors of the Remastered version are now properly parsed and displayed. Non-standard player names are now properly parsed and displayed.
Playmates Classes!
Added a new Playmates class filter to the 👬Playmates page. This allows to filter / narrow the listed playmates based on the player classes of the playmates, such as Human - Human Human - Computer Human - Bot Computer - Computer Computer - Bot Bot - Bot ALL By default only Human - Human playmates are listed, select <ALL> to list all.
Event relations
Event profiles now display if the event is a qualifier for another event.
Event profiles now list qualifiers for the event.
Event profiles now display event category and event name as links to list events with same category or event name.

Wow i remember the old database that was created by the anti-hack plugin, so many replays in that.. do the databases still exist? Just curious. Could be some interesting patterns in there with BIG DATA analysis.

repmastered.app uses passwordless login. You do not have to provide any passwords. You enter you email address, and an entry code is sent to you via email. Then you have to enter the entry code you got in your email.
Are you not getting the email? Please provide more details.
Also please note that you can use the site without logging in. You can upload replays too, but they will be upload anonymously (they will not be bound to your user), so it's recommended to login before uploading (but not a requirement).

Summary of recent updates:
Improved Map Search!
Map search has been improved. There are new filters on the 🗺️Maps page, you can now filter by the tile set, map width and height, and you can even search in map descriptions. There's another filter: Name class. This allows you to list maps whose name only contains normal characters (ASCII), or contains characters of specific languages such as Korean, Chinese, Russian, Japanese or Greek. Added Tile set and Size to the Maps table on the 🗺️Maps page. Map profiles now display the size and tile set of the map beside the map class. These are links to list maps with same size or tile set. Game details page now has popup for the map size to list maps with the same size, and the Map tab also displays the tile set with popup to list maps with the same tile set.
True, Full Map Name!
Map names stored in replay headers are limited in length. This means if the map names are longer than the limit, they are trimmed. Today (March 28) repmastered.app switches to the full map name stored in the map data! What does this mean? First, you'll see the full map name of course. Often map names contain the version at the end, so you'll see map versions more often in names (where they were trimmed due to length limit). And more importantly: since maps are differentiated based on map name, you'll see more maps now, more accurately capturing stats and map images!
Map resource table
Added a Resource table to the Map tab of game analyzers. This table lists the mineral field and vespene geyser resources of the map, showing their amount and count, and also calculates total minerals and vespene gas available on the map.
And there are numerous minor improvements, you can always find a more complete list on the 📰News page.

Summary of recent updates:
Improved stats and winners detection!
1v1 UMS games with observers are now detected and processed as 1v1 games! This greatly improves statistics and winners detection.
Rewritten and improved the winners detection algorithm which now handles more cases and is more accurate. This improves statistics accuracy a lot.
Increased the min game length limit to be included in stats from 1 minute to 110 seconds. This is in line with Battle.net's limit to count a game as win/loss instead of draw.
☷ Column setup and editing!
Added a ☷ Columns link to the 📹Games, 📅Events, 👨Players, 🗺️Maps, 👬Playmates, ▤Leaderboards and 🆚Matchups pages. This allows to customize the displayed columns of the result tables. Besides allowing to hide columns, there are numerous new columns added which you can add to the table.
There is a new Player descriptions column on the 📹Games page. This column aggregates and lists multiple properties of players including name, race, APM, EAPM and start dir in the form of "name race·APM·EAPM(startdir)". This column offers an alternative and more compact representation of players and their main properties. This column is now the default, but of course you can setup the old view by editing the columns.
The 📹Games page has these new additional columns: Title, Host, Date+Time, EAPMs, Views, DLs, Uploaded, Event.
All tables received a "Link Icons" column which can be used instead of the "Links", and it only displays icons without text to save space.
And there are numerous minor improvements, you can always find a more complete list on the 📰News page.

If we could filter based on tournament or player in the matchup section that would be interesting as well. While I can't put up filters for every possible combinations, the current situation does offer lots of options and customization.
Player profiles list race stats of the players (all matchups). 1v1 matchups are also listed separately.
Map profiles also list race stats (all formats). Map profiles also list all 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 matchups.
Event profiles also list race stats (all formats) and all 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 matchups.
The 🆚Matchups page lists all matchups (permutations not counted / they are merged).
The ∑Stats page lists global race play stats (all formats). Also lists global 1v1 and 2v2 matchups, and global race and 1v1 matchup trends (over the years). Moreover, you can filter all these stats by map class, e.g. you can filter the data to show these only for games played on Low money maps, only for games played on Fastest maps, only games played on Big Game Hunters maps or only for games played on UMS maps.

Summary of recent updates:
🔥 A fiery update for the summer: Map Layers, Hot points and Hot areas!
Added several Layers to the Map tab of the game details page. These layers can be toggled independently:- Tiles
- Hot areas
- Resources
- Hot points
- Buildings
- Player names
The granularity of Hot areas can be changed with the Hot area size listbox. The time window for the Hot points and Hot areas can be changed using the Hot window listbox.
These "Hot" stuffs might be familiar to old Sc2gears users, now it has arrived for SC-BW too! Quoting from the ❓FAQ page:
Q: What are these "hot" stuffs: "Hot points", "Hot areas" and "Hot window"?
A: The Map tab of the game details page can show "Hot points" and "Hot areas" in the background of the map view (as layers). Hot points are basically the visualized target points of players' commands on the map. The map can be divided into regions called Hot areas, and hot points falling into these regions are summarized. These regions then are visualized with a brightness proportional to the number of their hot points, relative to all other hot areas. The region with the most hot points is the brightest, a region with no hot points is completely transparent. Hot points and Hot areas show you where big things like battles, intensive micro operations take place on the map. The "Hot" window is a moving time window that defines which hot points to consider for the Hot points and Hot areas features. For example Last 1 min means to only visualize / include hot points that happened in the last 1 minute preceeding the selected / current time, which visualizes the recent battles and actions. You can increase / decrease this time window, and you can even select From start to consider all hot points from game start (up until the selected / current time). Animate the map to see how hot areas change! Note: only hot points from selected players are considered. If you're interested only in a specific player, deselect other players.
General ↕Sorting Addition!
Added a Sort by listbox to the 📹Games, 📅Events, 👨Players, 🗺️Maps, 👬Playmates, ▤Leaderboards and 🆚Matchups pages. This allows to change the sorting of records. Changing the sorting might disable filtering. By default all pages sort by games (the 📅Events page by start date). Additionally:Added a Players link to the Links and Link icons columns on the 📹Games page that opens all players of the game on the 👨Players page. This allows you to quickly check the stats of all the players of the game. Added a Players link to the Players tab of the Game details page under the players table. This opens all players of the game on the 👨Players page. This allows you to quickly check the stats of all the players of the game.
Improved 💬 Chat!
The 💬Chat tab of the game details page has been greatly improved. It now displays observer chat and minimap pings, distinguished with an icon. Observer chat and pings can be turned off. There's also a Format into paragraphs checkbox which groups messages into paragraphs based on the elapsed time between them.
Improved Replay Chooser!
The Replay chooser dropdown list is now always visible on the game details page. It now displays the game length, number of chat messages and the replay saver (if known) for each available replays.
Miscellaneous changes and new features
Added a new Max Players column to the Maps table on the 🗺️Maps page. This column displays the max number of human players on the map. Also added a new Max Players filter to the 🗺️Maps page, so you can quickly filter maps based on max human players.
Added a new Reps column to the 📹Games table. This column displays the number of replays available for the game.
The game details page now displays the replay saver if it is known.
Searched players are now prioritized on the 👬Playmates page (moved to the first column) when "Exact players" matching is used.
Changed the available Length filter values. The first 0-1 min value has been changed to 0-1:50 which reflects games that are excluded from stats. Consequently the second value is changed from 1-5 min to 1:50-5 min.
And there are numerous minor improvements, you can always find a more complete list on the 📰News page.

🗺️High resolution StarCraft map images!🗺️
Map images are now rendered using StarCraft graphics! These include map preview and large images, and also the map background on the Map tab of the Game details pages.
Team and Clan support has arrived!
Team based events now display a Teams (or Clans) summary table on profiles.
Teams vs Teams stats: Team based events gather and display stats of games played between any 2 teams in the event.
The Players table on event profiles now also displays the teams of the players. This table can also be filtered to list players of a single team.
Added a Teams type filter to the 📅Events page. With this filter you can quickly find events of different teams types such as Solo (no teams), Regular teams (e.g. 2v2 or 3v3 tournaments) or Clan leagues. You can also choose Any teams to list all team based events.
Added Teams type and Teams columns to the table on the 📅Events page. The former shows the teams type, the latter shows the number of teams participating in the event.
Miscellaneous changes and new features
Added Total Plays and Plays % columns to the Global Games Summary table on the ∑Stats page. Added Global 3v3 and 4v4 Matchup Stats to the ∑Stats page.
Added 🌈Game Spectrum Stats to the ∑Stats page. This table details how many entities (e.g. Players, Playmates, Maps, Map leaderboards, Matchups) are there in different game count ranges (e.g. with 1 game, with 2 - 10 games, with 11 - 100 games etc.).
Added a new Engine column to the games table on the 📹Games page. This indicates the game engine used to play and save the game (original StarCraft or Brood War extension), and certain version ranges of the game (1.16 or older, 1.18-1.20, 1.21 or newer). The engine version is also displayed in the Engine field of the game details page.
Added a Navigation section to the top of event profiles. This contains links to quickly jump to previous and next tours of the same event.
Added a List these maps link under the Maps table on event profiles. It lists all the maps of the event on the 🗺️Maps page.
Added a Races column to the Players table of event profiles. This shows what races players used in the event.
Added a List these players link under the Players table on event profiles. It lists all the players of the event on the 👨Players page.
Renamed the 1v1 game type to 1on1 as there were some who confused it with 1v1 format.

That being said, if there's a computer in a 1v1 game, that means one team is full of computers, so it will not be counted in 1v1 matchup stats
Note however that the overall matchup stats you see on the 🆚Matchups page do not represent accurate low money matchup stats, they include fastest, UMS and BGH games too. Zerg for example is famously weak on fastest maps, and currently 24% of games were played on fastest maps.
Go to the ∑Stats page, which also displays matchup stats. You can filter the basis of global stats by map class. Select "Low money", then you'll see low money matchup stats only, and as discussed above, computer games do not distort results of 1v1 win ratios.
Here's a shortcut to these stats: Low money only global stats

Summary of recent updates:
🪜🪜🪜Ladders!
Introducing Ladder support! Different ladder types of games are now automatically detected, such as - The official Blizzard ladder - BGH MMR EU ladder - [24H] BGH MMR West ladder
The 📹Games page now has a Ladder filter, so you can quickly list games of different ladders, or games that aren't in any ladders ("None" ladder). This Ladder filter of course works with any combination of other filters, so you can filter to ladder games of specific players or maps for example.
The Game details page also displays the ladder of the game, with popup to list games of the same ladder.
Player profiles now display Ladder stats, so you can see what or if a player plays on ladders and stats on those ladders.
The ∑Stats page shows global ladder statistics. The global stats can also be filtered down to a ladder, so you can view all kinds of global statistics gathered and assembled from specific ladders (e.g. matchup stats on different ladders).
Team detection in UMS AI games!
Improved the replay parser engine to detect teams in UMS AI games. Such maps arrange random teams. Examples are maps with "[AI]" in their name, or BGH Random Teams.
🗺️Map variations and hashes!
Map hashes are now calculated for each game. The Map Hash is a unique fingerprint of all the map data (tiles, units, texts, triggers etc.). Different hash means a different map file was used. The map hash is displayed on the Map tab of the Game details page.
Since variations are now tracked and–besides having the same name–they may differ in any aspect (e.g. different tiles, different description, even different tileset or map size), the variant with the most games is used to generate map data and map images. As more games are uploaded, the most played variant may change, in which case repmastered.app will automatically switch to the new most played variant.
The Download link on map profiles now downloads the most played variant of the map.
Added a Map Hash column to the 📹Games page. This column displays the first 5 characters of the map hash, and tooltip shows the complete map hash.
Added a Variants column to the 🗺️Maps page. This column displays how many variations are there for maps with identical name but with different map data.
🗺️Map Origin and Variation details!
Added a Map Origin column to the 📹Games page. This column displays if the concrete map used in the game is from a known source (e.g. an original map in StarCraft installation was used). The origin's short name is displayed (e.g. Blizz), tooltip shows the full name of the origin with all paths listed.
Map Origin is also displayed on the Map tab of the Game details page.
Added an Origin column to the 🗺️Maps page. This column displays the origin of the most played variant of the maps.
Added a Variations table to map profiles. This table details the known variations of the map, also contains links to render images of any of the variations.
The ∑Stats page now displays the number of total map variations in the database.
🗺️High-res map image links!
Added High-res map image links to map profiles and to the Game details pages. Clicking on these links will open high-resolution map images in a new tab, even as big as the in-game size!
Clicking on the large map preview image on map profiles opens the preview image in a new tab.
Resources and start locations are rendered with high contrast on small map preview images.
View the complete and up-to-date list on the 📰News page.

Rant:
In Players tab, i would like to exclude players based on if they dont play BGH+Low, ie i want to find BGH or Low only players, maybe even be able to set a percent of played map type like 10%. Some have 1% or less of BGH/Low and i dont count those as BGH/Low players.
In Games tab, i am trying to find players of 3v3 and 4v4 games AND only BGH/Low maps. Also i dont get any help how to use regexp map.
If i could regexp the 'matchup' to include both 3v3 and 4v4 matchups like: XXXvXXX, XXXXvXXXX, ie wildcard a race and amount of players. Or 'format' be able to choose multiple options.
Avg APM seems pretty useless, would rather have Avg EAPM. Avg APM can fluctuate a lot per player but EAPM usually does not.
I would really like if you could use regexp in every field to find what ure looking for. This would require a regexp help-popup how regexp works ofc as most ppl dont know about it but its a strong tool.
So my current confusion is how i find BGH/Low games with 3v3 or 4v4 format included.
The lack of sorting is an issue too. It would be very useful.
Edit: Be able to exclude short games like less than 5 minutes. Maybe repmastered should remove invalid games that are less than 2 minutes long (any game below 2 min is a disc). https://repmastered.app/?from=2021-01-01&mapMatch=substr&map=hunter&format=4v4&avgAPM=300 as an example.
Thx for making this awesome website.

Thanks for the feedback. I'd rather answer in general that addresses most of your issues / requests.
Please keep in mind that performance is one of the first prio. If you have 10 replays, can you form any kind of query and sortig, the results will come in an instance. repmastered.app has more than 1.6 million replays as of now, and this number just keeps growing. To have "instant" results, the data has to be indexed in multiple ways to support queries and sorting. Building and maintaining indices is a significant task and space, and there are certain limitations. Performance (execution time) of queries and sorting will only be acceptable if they are backed by indices.
Even though I would want to allow querying and sorting by all values, this is not possible in practice and is not possible due to database limitations. I carefully select filters and sort orders that seem useful / reasonable. I'll keep revisiting this issue from time-to-time, but I can't just allow all because without index support, filtering and sorting from 1.6 million replays would take too long and would overload the server.

Couldnt the sorting be client-side? No, it can't be. To sort by a property, you need all the records. For example, let's say you want to filter games to the map "| iCCup | Fighting Spirit 1.3", and sort the results by game length, descending. There are more than 160 thousand result games, how would you tell which are the 20 longest games without looking at each of them? That would require sending all 160 thousand games to the client, just to be able to sort and show the first 20...
When the data is limited, client side sorting can be implemented, and it is already done: look at player profiles for example, all tables are sortable by almost any column, on the client side. This is possible because all the data (table rows) are already on the client side.

However, wouldn't a possible work-around be running these sorting algorithms say once per day, and then display the outcome of said sorting until the next time the sorting algorithm is done, instead of doing it on-demand per user? It's not ideal and I'm not sure how "expensive" this would be, but I feel like it might be a possible solution even if not ideal.

For a specific filter / sorting setup it could be done, but that could also be covered with an index, so on-demand execution is also fast. Doing it for all possible filter / sorting combinations is again just too much and not worth imo.

This has come true yesterday:
The 📹Games page has a new filter: Include short games. This is off by default, so games shorter than 110 seconds are not listed by default. These games are and were excluded from statistics. You can list all games including short ones by enabling this filter.

Thats awesome! Thank you

This database is huge! What's are the sources for non-user uploaded replays? I can find a lot old games (of what appear to be private replays) & so many ladder games of which I can't imagine they are all uploaded by users. It'd be nice to see date uploaded and the uploader/source.
Due to the sheer quantity a lot of the replays are never downloaded.. while there's some potential statistical value, the amount of bloat is enormous. Aside from some entertainment value some E-B rank reps might have the majority are low level games with (little to) no value.
Reducing this could solve a lot of future storage and traffic (and cost) issues.

Reducing this could solve a lot of future storage and traffic (and cost) issues. Source of non-user uploaded replays is the internet and Blizzard ladder. The identity of the uploader is private info. The upload timestamp is published, just hidden by default. Click on the ☷ Columns link and check Uploaded. This will display the upload date, toolip also shows the exact timestamp.
And yes, since there are so many replays (10+ millions!), most will never be downloaded but contribute invaluably to all kinds of statistics (matchup, map, player etc.). They are also invaluable to the players themselves, for example you probably don't care about my replays and my player stats, but that's what I care about the most.

Thanks for the very quick response!
While it's awesome there is so much data I do have mixed feelings about the gathering methods, especially since there's no way to opt-in or opt-out for players. While it's true I'm not interested in other players' statistics, I'm not sure if I'm interested in my own either - especially when the data set is limited (when I haven't uploaded my own replay folder). I also think for transparency it would be good to show the uploader.
That aside, great work on this platform, looks really solid.
Has any statistical data been released before? Would love to see some if available. It would be awesome to find things such as map balance within different mmr ranges.
On a more detailed level you could also extract build order effectiveness. This would of course require for build orders to be categorized within a variety in conditions, but it should be very possible to add labels such as '3 hatch muta', '1 rax FE SK terran', etc. Which in turn would also give the opportunity to search by build order. This feels like a huge undertaking without community support though (& also data processing).
Also awesome that you're still actively maintaining the platform and adding features! Cheers

I'm not gathering replays by hacking servers or users' computers. I'm gathering replays that are publicly available on different sites and forums, posted on public discord servers etc.
My point is this: if I wouldn't collect and publish these, that doesn't mean these replays are not accessible on the internet and no one else does this, maybe secretly. This also goes for the opt in and out. If you could opt out, that doesn't mean the data isn't collected or someone else doesn't collect it either. This way at least you know what's available on the internet.
Think of it this way: you play a 1v1 game vs someone, but you want to keep the game private. You can, of course, keep your replay private, but you can't keep the opponent's replay private: if he wants to, he can publish his replay and there's nothing you can do to keep the game a secret.
I'm not sure / convinced the replay uploader should be public info. Do note however that when the replay saver can be identified / deduced from the data saved in replays, that is displayed on the Game details page.
Current gathered and published stats are availabe on this page: https://repmastered.app/stats These stats are updated "real time" as new replays are uploaded. This page is semi-interactive: you can apply certain filters like map class, ladder and years. There are also stats gathered per map, per player etc, which are displayed on map, player etc profile pages.
Build order extraction and related stats are non-trivial and less accurate to say the least, because replays store limited information (it's not recorded which buildings or units complete, only the commands / actions issued by players are recorded).
More statistics of any kind of course are possible in the future, the first step is always the data gathering.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. I fully understand, since the platform needs to be fed with replays
+ Show Spoiler [just some food for thought] +I don't really agree, but I don't want to litter the thread with negative sentiment since I do think the website itself is great. I'll share my thoughts and then leave it at.
While replays might be publicly accessible, it doesn't necessarily mean the players, or the original host, consents to having them republished. Likely, for many cases, players aren't even aware or would like them to be published in the first place.
While replay 'ownership' always involves at least 2 parties, using this as an argument to rehost the replays isn't really genuine either. In practice, for majority of the ladder replays neither player has intended (nor are they aware) that the replays are being published, mainly due to a backdoor into Blizzard's ladder replay library.
In that sense it's a little hypocritical to not share the uploader's name, even thought this doesn't really matter too much anyway since anyone can create a random login to anonymously upload replays.
Of course everything is in good faith and I'm not contesting any legal ownership or whatsoever. It's just the principle - especially in this day and age where digital privacy on a wider scope involves a lot of issues. It appears there is very little (or no) consideration for the players & everything is kept anonymous. Not requesting any changes, just providing some food for thought. In the end, the community is small and I do believe that any development and/or efforts made to keep it alive are always welcome. Additionally, I think this makes any other replay analyzer obsolete.

Summary of recent updates:
⚔️Matchmaking Info!⚔️
Matchmaking info for Blizzard ladder games is now available! This information is not obtained from replays, and may be acquired / updated later, in the background.
Added an MM Info column on the 📹Games page which displays ladder season, gateway and average MMR with rank of the game. This info is also added to Game details.
Added an MMR column on the Players tab of Game details. This column displays the players' initial MMR (with rank) before, and MMR change after the game.
⚔️Matchmaking Activity and Trends in Player Profiles!⚔️
Added a new MMRs Min·Latest·Max column to the 👨Players page. This column displays the overall minimum, latest known and maximum MMR of players, with ranks.
Players can now be sorted by Latest MMR and Max MMR on the 👨Players page.
Added Matchmaking Activity and Trends to player profiles. This visualizes the player's min/last/max MMR based on matchmaking seasons. Detailed stats can also be displayed (it is collapsed by default).
Added Matchmaking Gateway stats to player profiles. This section shows the player's stats (including min/latest/max MMR) based on gateways.
Miscellaneous changes and new features
The 📹Games page has a new filter: Include short games. This is off by default, so games shorter than 110 seconds are not listed by default. These games are and were excluded from statistics. You can list all games including short ones by enabling this filter.
Replaced the global "Stretch tables" overlay option with a new Tables formatting listbox. It has the following options: - No wrap: This option will not break text content of table cells, so all rows will have equal hight. Horizontal scrollbar will appear if the table doesn't fit on the page. - Wrap: This is the old, default behavior: Text content will break into multiple lines if otherwise the table would not fit on the page. - Stretch: This is the old "stetched" behavior: tables will stretch to full page width if they would be smaller.
Highlight game results: When you filter games by players on the 📹Games page, game results will now be highlighted based on the result of the searched players. If you filter games to a single player (or multiple aliases of a player), the table will be colored based on when that player has won or lost. When filtering to multiple players, the coloring is only applied if all the listed players are on the same team.
Changed 👨Players, 🗺️Maps, 👬Playmates, ▤Leaderboards and 🆚Machups: replaced the default "Total Games" column with "Included Games", and they are now sorted by included games (instead of total games). Using the ☷ Columns link you can still turn on/off the Total Games, Included Games and Excluded Games columns. The Years stats on the ∑Stats now only display the number of included games (instead of total games).
Cosmetic updates: - Map class, ladder and race values are now colored eveywhere. - Matchups are also colored. Matchups have a race distribution color background calculated from the races of the matchup. - Race and matchup stats table cells inside Year Stats on the ∑Stats page now also use race colors.

Also one unfortunate but important thing.
repmastered.app now hosts well over 10 MILLION replays! Operational costs have increased significantly. I hate begging, but to keep the site running, your financial help is needed.
I'm not asking for a profit nor payment for my work. I work on this for free. But I do have to pay a considerable amount for the server resources every month, and that I have also done voluntarily, from my own pocket, for years now, and I have done it to give something to the community. But it has grown to a considerable amount which I may not willing to pay going forward, which would require to shut down the site.
So if you like the site and think it gives value to the community, consider donating to keep the site live. Thanks.

Great work and thanks for repmastered and especially for the recent updates! Im Wondering how is it possible that the total replay count has grown like 300% in 2023?

i appreciate the time/work you put into this site
but that being said
1) you should provide a link to the original website where the download was scraped (ygosu, yaoyuan, reps.ru, etc)
2) especially if you are going to charge for downloads due to "increasing abuse"
3) or, how about a simple captcha to prevent unwanted downloads? im not going to pay USD for replays for a 25 year old game
thanks

thanks 1) I don't have source links for replays, especially if users upload them. But most of the replays are not coming from any site but from the Blizzard ladder.
2-3) I put my time and expertise to create and run the site, and guess what, it costs money to run it. So I put my money into it, for years. So the situation is that I put my time and effort to help the community, and I pay for it. Shouldn't it be otherwise? That someone who helps the community gets rewarded?
Do as you wish. You do not have to pay as there's (although little) free download limit every day. But do you think I'm making money from RepMastered™? I'm spending like a hundred bucks from my pocket on it each month, and many hours of my time. Would you like me to also pay you for downloading replays?

again, thank you for your work
the site is able to download from the blizzard server. where? can your website provide an external link? how are these replays acquired from the server? i dont understand the need for your site as a "middle man" which means you have to pay for file hosting.

It's no accident you don't know of an official Blizzard site to download replays from, because there isn't one. RepMastered does so by interacting with the StarCraft client, and in a way similar to how you can watch / download your most recent replays in StarCraft. But this only provides the 25 most recent ladder reps at most. To get older replays, a "middle man" is required because you can't do that even from within StarCraft.
And I don't know what you want to imply with my quotes from the past.

Such a question for TL's community, and times three. Here's my answer: !!!.

I was more than happy to support this project with USD, and that was before it had pay-to-use options. I don't even really download replays anymore, as I am not active. Still do not regret my decision.
Downloaded one replay I myself uploaded previously now just for fun though.

Hi, What is my percentage share if someone pay to download one of my replay?

i was just asking the question was directed at the website owner. IF replays are scraped from external website, THEN why not provide link to that website, instead of hosting it yourself and charging for downloads.
maybe it is a molehill for you. or a mountain. i do not care what you think.

You can also download maps from Map profile pages, there's a download most played variant link at the top, and ⬇Download .scx map links for all variants at the bottom of the page.

If you select Wrap, the site will try to shrink tables to fit on smaller screens too. The default No wrap does not limit the width of tables (tries to render rows without line breaks).

📦Download replay packs!
Added replay pack download options:
On event profiles, there's a new ⬇Download full replay pack📦 link which downloads all replays of an event as a zip file.
On the 📹Games page there's a new ⬇Download 20 reps 📦 link which downloads all replays of the listed games on the page as a zip file.
Downloading replay packs counts towards the daily download limit with the number of included replays, and if downloading the pack would exceed the download limit, the download will be denied. Visit the ⛑️Donate page for details about how to upgrade your account to increase the daily download limit.
Downloaded replay file names now include the game timestamp as a prefix.
More replay pack options may be added in the future.

Thanks! That is a great update. I donated to be able to download more reps. The timestamp is good, but in the past it used to download with the name of the players too, now it just puts there a code. Would it be a hassle to set it back to players' names?

I'm not getting the login email. Can we do OTP via authenticator instead?

Repmastered never put names into file names, but that's something not hard to do.
