This behavior is very aggressive and borderline scammy imo.
Please try to fix it if you can.
[Edit: to fix, I had to turn off javascript for the site. And it happened on both Chrome and Edge] Show nested quote +On October 05 2025 13:38 Electrical-Opinion-5 wrote:Get any ads blocker nerds , but yeah the issue happens if no ad blocker (url-redirection), but I just can't imagine your lives without1. I temporarily disabled all ads on the site. Can you check if it works for you now? Any auto-redirects happen now? Please check without ad-blockers too. Thanks.
Confirmed no malicious redirect without adblocker now.

Why would any "proper" websites require users to install ad-blocker by default?? There are plenty of websites who use ads. Youtube, Google, even your local online newspapers have tons of ads.
THEY JUST DON'T HAVE REDIRECT WITHOUT USER CLICKING ANYTHING.
That behavior is spammy.
Only shady websites do that.

The ads are considered 3rd party, I have no control over what they insert, the most I can do is remove them. But usually you just designate a place on your website, and link to the site or code the ad provider gives you. What it does or what happens from there on, it's up to the ad service.

Yeah, sometime it's out of control from the developer, I've had the same issue on tl.net a few times too. Pretty rare, but it did happen before.

OK then I guess my request is please locate the rogue ad component and remove it. For the average Joe this is impossible, but I imagine for somebody built up that entire website yourself, it should be easy. Just paste the code they gave you into ChatGPT and it will check for you! And you should test the end-result changing some variables (like country IP using VPN, or logged in vs. not logged in). If worse comes to worse, change ad provider?? There are a ton you can use. FYI: The majority of proper websites out there don't have this issue, and yours does. So clearly, something is off about your website, and it can be fixed.

FYI: The majority of proper websites out there don't have this issue, and yours does. So clearly, something is off about your website, and it can be fixed. It's not that simple. What I get is basically just a URL which I have to insert into my site. I can check what it returns of course, but the response is changing from time-to-time and based on who views it and from where, so I don't get the same response as you. Of course I checked it before putting online, but it works for me and I don't experience what some of you do, even though I don't use any ad blockers.
Yes, many websites don't have this issue because most use the trustworthy Google Ads, and I'd be glad to use that too, but my site doesn't meet their requirements (other sites such as TL.net has user generated content, and my site has mostly auto-generated content from replays). So I had to revert to other, lesser known and trusted ad services, and this is the result of that. I've tried multiple ones, others were even worse. If you have a suggestion, I'm all ears.
All in all, as written above, I've removed all ads from the site until I find a suitable replacement.

With Bravebrower (which includes Adblock) repmastered works 100% fine. On my phone i get same issues and site is not useable.
Dakota_Fanning just explained why we get these agressive ads without adblocker. Only solution would be to complete remove ads from the site (since he cant use any less-agressive-Ad-services). But i guess this is no option, only if more people are willing to donate regulary.
