I've personally been habitually opposed to having an "offical" translating team, due to the fact that it is such a heavy workload and takes so much time, AND there is simply a boatload of things to translate.
I think translators should have the freedom to translate what they want, when they want, and not have to feel obligated towards anyone to have to meet deadlines or have to churn out every winner's interview. That just leads to burnout and lack of enjoyment for the translators who already do so much for us.
As WiP said,
He will translate when he can. He can translate anything he wants without being obligated to doing it by being on a "list of translators."
I think this should be the fundamental attitude towards any of our translators.

I don't think being on the team "forces" them to translate anything. What it does do is helps the translators work together so the same thing isn't done twice, and the workload can be spread out more:D They can also translate things like the LONG nal_ra interview much faster.
thx alot guys;o

Oh I know, but I stated my position saying that the translators shouldnt feel any obligations, and that posters shouldnt expect any either.

I've gone on temperamental outbursts at various posters here several times actually :O
edit: the most spectacular one I think was against Gandalf, although we all came to terms in the end.

Meh, if they decide to translate one thing a month or even a year that's fine. You can't judge people who work for free for the benefit of us all. You can only accept it respectfully and be thankful.

Edit: I just realized how offensive this sounded and I don't want to argue about it -_-
Anyhow, translators, do your best. We're all proud of anything you do.

Totally agree, though sometime they give away too much when talking about specifics I think.

It's been done already clicky. But probably confuses you that it's a different interview because the OP didn't put a pic.

an article called "the Loki behind story" on mapdori looks interesting; i think its about the map and its features and its formation and whatnot if someone could translate it it would be awesome! (unless its a waste of time article, inwhichcase dont bother)
