It depends on what the child is screaming for. If the child has all his primary needs taken care of (food, water, enough attention, comfort, etc.) then reinforcing him for screaming just solely because he wants more will make him or her spoiled. You want the baby to eventually stop crying all the time for unnessary wants, thus you want to negatively reinforce him to stop crying through not giving into his whims and ignoring it. | ||
