I've made finals at major symphony auditions in recent months. I'm going to play well and compete in both Fort Worth or San Francisco by committing to daily mental prep, running mock auditions with fellow musicians, and seeking out lessons with top teachers.

Ugh... Massive fail at getting this blog up and active, and it's definitely reflected in how I've approached my mental prep. I've been spotty at best this week.
Work was quite challenging. There's a double concert cycle coming up and the double rehearsals for said cycles were over the beginning of the week. One coworker however was called away so I found myself playing principal for the entirety of the 6 hour rehearsals. My face was pretty beaten up by the end of each day. It completely circumvented my private audition practice on those two days.
But I made up for them today! Today was an awesome practice day, though I did bail on a lunch date to make sure I got the practice in while our neighbors were out. I was very happy with the effort.
Diablo 3 has been a blast! An RL friend and I have been playing sporadically, but I've really come to enjoy the game solo. I've set myself a goal of seeing how far into the game I can get going completely solo. The game (and loot dispersal) is designed around partying and farming advanced content, but I want to see how far into the GRs I can get just solely on my own. Finally got my 3pc Sunwukos (+RoRG of course) and stuff is starting to come together!!
Big weigh-in day... I'll be updating the pictures and posting to the nutrition thread to adjust my goals for the immediate future... kinda getting tired of cutting.

Ahhh... cheat days.... This is the first true cheat day of my cut! And man was it glorious! After a solid Bench Day, the wife and I went out for oysters and dinner. Oysters are Scotch are our shared foodie passions, so it was quite a meal! We came home to watch Foxcatcher and I picked up a small carton of ice cream to go with it! Damn if I'm not way way over my calories for the day. :-) Totally worth it though.
