This is a YouTube video of a game called Utøya Ultrakill. TBH, I couldn't care less about what happened there*, but I know that someone will, and probably already has been really offended by this, and I understand that they get offended aswell. It's like... imagine a couple of weeks after 9/11 somone decides to make a game where you hijack an airplane and crash it into WTC, and then control the debris to kill as many people as possible or smth like that. Honestly, if this game had been just a little later it would have been OK-ish, but now they get hate from all over Norway, except some tards that think it's an awesome game.
So lets make a blog post in a SC(2) website that actually has something to do with Starcraft 
Anyone has any idea on how to play aggressively as a zerg (vs T or P), when they do some sort of FE? I have looked up some threads about it and found this, which is a post by TangSC with some timing attacks etc, if anyone could offer some insight on how to be aggressive(without all-in) as zerg it would be greatly apreciated
And if you haven't already, go check TLO's Z, IMO it's sick, micro-intensive shit. It's like terran micro+zerg "OP"ness and it's just beatiful to watch ^^

*This does NOT mean I don't care for the victims of the attack. I wish Anders could be put in a REAL prison, like the one Moland and French got thrown into, that would be punisment. But there's nothing I can do to actually help the victims so after a while the whole thing kinda just...fades*** in my head so I'm more likely to make theese kind of braindead comments, but that was a really bad looking statement and I apologize to anyone who got offended by it.

I'm sorry that our opinions are somewhat conflicting, but no one asked you to read the blog, and blogs is the closest you get to free speech on TL. So if my opinions on that single subject offends you so much that you aren't able to read the other "topics" then I guess this is goodbye.

Insta judged when you start like that. For me the act that happened there is much more severe than 9/11 in a way if you look at the planes like a suit case with a button in it, klick it and it kills 3000 people. Dreadful yes.
But to actually go around up close, hunt down children and young kids, teenagers, and kill up to 100 of them, in a one man sadistic killing spree. Chills me to the bone, inhuman. And I don't think it's appropriate ever to make a video game out of it.

If the game is good then the game is good, regardless of what inspired it. For the people directly influenced by the incident time doesn't heal any wounds, time only serves to lessen the amounts of moralists who feel like events involving no-holds-barred slaughter compared to a battle (even if the battle is strategically suicidal) are inappropriate for games. There are tons of games about combat in the middle east etc, but there isn't a general or outspoken opinion that those games are inappropriate (other than "all games involving killing is inappropriate") even though the slaughter there is on a far grander scale than that of the Utøya incident.

That said, it does raise the important point of why it's ok to be a US Marine and shoot many many Middle-Eastern people but not ok to be a "Freedom Fighter" and shoot many many American GIs in a video game.

Perhaps he means he doesn't care about something that he can't possibly change and was just a random act by a deranged individual. Millions of people die every month. Why should he care more about people that die just because they are from the same country as him and the media presented their deaths to him? People certainly relate more to the deaths of someone closer to them, this is a known fact — As irrational as it may sound, I was certainly shocked more by the recent death of an elementary school child in my home town rather than the 100+ victims from another recent fuel truck explosion in a certain African country, simply because I can sympathize much more with the family that shares my own hometown, its culture and mindset.
Alright, he has the right not to care, but I've seen enough of these subtly indicative statements on how people are somehow hypocritical if they care about something that's occurring in their vicinity rather than on the other side of the globe.

When you put it that way yeah, it looks like Utøya was alot worse, but 9/11 did kill more people didn't it? and property/landmark?
