12-man league, I was the 12th pick in a snake-style draft. No points per reception. 4 points for passing TD's. I'll include what round I drafted each player, and the overall pick of the draft, but keep in mind that with my draft position I was picking 2 players back to back.

Do you remember what was on the board when you took Brees?? That seems like a good pick but you are very weak at RB. The Eagles have a kid at QB and a lot of inexperience on offense. I'd stay out of that mess. I have a feeling you could have done better than McCoy there.
Your WRs look ok though. Moss is obviously money. Harvin is fine for #2 I think. Maybe a round higher than where he should have gone though? Moss could have a bit of a rebound year with a good coach and good QB, though I think Cooley is the guy that most benefits from McNabb... you did well with Clark though. You have no depth after Moss though. Evans and Cothchery are worthless due to their teams and position on the depth chart.
You'll really want another RB though I think. Knowshon's your best dude, but he's in a split (Buckhalter got like 100+ carries last year iirc. He's a poacher but not worth a start) on a bad team. McCoy is just on a bad team that's pass happy and you're not in a PPR. Jackson is good, but on a bad team and likely #2 in the split... Chester Taylor is #2 in another split.
You also should never draft a D before the last two rounds. K/D is always the last two round or you take gambles at that spot and sort it by plucking waivers before week 1. There's too much variation on D year-to-year and the Saints D actually sucks (just good turnover ration) and that was mostly because of Sharper.
Overall: Good on Brees and R. Moss. I liked Clark's pick too. Your def short of depth if you get injured, and you're sitting dead at RB. Knowshon's the only decent pick there.

yeh.. you needed Turner. Hes gonna be the fantasy leader in total, not just RBs this year. bank on it.

Picking up dallas clark that late was a steal imo. Hes got a chance to catch more TD passes than reggie wayne this season.

You need a way better RB than the two you have. I would have drafted a RB in the second round instead of Randy Moss. And I don't know why you drafted him in the first place. Hes inconsistent

At pick 13, there is a major drop at RB. You're blowing one of your top two picks on a good RB instead of a great QB or WR.
After the first 6-7 featured backs, it's all dudes who are good but in a time split. Basically, do you want a Felix Jones, who could get anywhere between 150-200 carries and be just ok, or Randy Moss, who is still very much a top 3 WR?
All positions have three skill tiers: Elite, Good and average. The difference between Eli Manning and say... jay Cutler is negligible. Drew Brees to Joe Flacco is not.

Clark gives you a nice TE and obviously Brees is a top teer QB. Your RB are week like everyone's saying. I don't like McCoy, new QB and the Eagles never have great rushing (much of Westbrook's value was from pass catching) and Harvin is a huge question mark... no one knows how much he'll play with his migraine issues. I wouldn't expect much from Cotchery or Evans either. I think your team lacks depth and upside.

Drafting last really sucks. I'm assuming the first 11 picks were something like Andre Johnson, Aaron Rodgers and 9 RBs. In that case, getting Moss was great, but Drew Brees was probably a bit of a reach with only 1 QB and standard scoring. I probably would have grabbed Reggie Wayne or Calvin Johnson instead.
You had no choice but to get 2 RBs with your next two picks, and I assume those were the best two out there. With 12 teams and the flex spot, it'd be a disaster to have to start someone like Felix Jones or Darren McFadden because everyone better got taken. Both your picks should have solid seasons imo. Percy Harvin is ok and Dallas Clark was a steal at 61. Rest of your picks were extremely boring; you should have taken some long shots on sleepers instead of picking guys like Lee Evans.

Your backup RBs are slightly meh - make sure you play the waiver wires better and use those as your dispensable waivers. but I'm always fond of young running backs because they tend to perform well in their 2nd-3rd years, I'm honestly a HUGE fan of WRs this past few years.. I don't believe in drafting "feature backs" unless it's a top 6~ rusher - the advent of consistent RB injuries are way more common then WRs getting hurt.
I've been a 4x Fantasy Champion the last couple years, both years my draft manifesto going in was high on Elite WRs (asides LFitz this year) and picking up young or above average running backs in my mid round picks. It's worked out wonderfully because unless you get feature backs in heavy running systems, it's hard to get that constant weekly production that seems more consistent with Elite WRs.
That's at least my take on it, I went with Andre Johnson / Randy Moss as my first two picks last year in my $$ League and I came out #1. I'm going to do something similar this year.

I also wanted to add I was in similar position last year, I drafted 10 out of 12, I got extremely lucky getting Ray Rice and Thomas Jones with my 4th and 6th Picks last year along with hand cuffing jones with Mccoy. I'm very high on Moreno and Mccoy since both are doing extremely well in pre-season, just make sure you handcuff one or the other and you'll be 100% set for one of your RBs this season.
My biggest tip is always keep watch for the back-up handcuffs that are on waivers because they'll be life savers.

You do know that the top 6 backs are all feature backs, correct?? Feature = the lion's share of carries, like 70-75% of the carries. That's the RB shelf everyone talks about.

What Hawk said, I think unless you manage to get really lucky with say Jonathon Stewart last year after DeAngelo got injured, you will not get a huge feature back past the top 7~ rushers in the league. This is where Elite WRs become amazing and you'll have to gamble with either young and upcoming RBs or split backs.

2 - 13 - WR Randy Moss - Not bad, just hope his age doesn't cause an injury.
3 - 36 - RB LeSean McCoy - Assuming these 2 RB were the best available, I may have passed up the RB position at this point for a good/great WR2. McCoy is promising, just a slight risk.
4 - 37 - RB Knowshon Moreno - Not too sure if I like this pick, he had some injury issues this off-season, and Denver has a RB committee once all the RB get healthy.
5 - 60 - WR Percy Harvin - Amazing receiver with great return yardage (hopefully included in your league), but his Migranes are really concerning.
6 - 61 - TE Dallas Clark - The fact that you got Dallas Clark this late is a complete surprise to me, this guy is pretty much a beast.
7 - 84 - WR Santana Moss - Has a good year with McNabb ahead of him.
8 - 85 - RB Fred Jackson - I like this pick because of the versatility that he brings with good run yardage, good receiving yardage, and good return yardage. Hopefully he'll be healthy by week one.
9 - 108 - WR Lee Evans - Great receiver, horrible offense. Not sure if he'll be any good this year.
10 - 109 - WR Jerricho Cotchery - Will be decent up until Holmes returns, after that, I don't think he'll have a big impact.
Put notes next to the player in the quote.
Overall, I'd give your team a 6.5/10.

Ok so based off of this feedback I'm thinking I may dig through the free agents before Week 1 to try to find some rookies that may still be available at RB or WR. Buckhalter is a handcuff for Moreno, as somebody mentioned earlier, and Fred Jackson was basically a backup in case C.J. Spiller ends up being a flop. Evans as far as I know is still going to be a top target even if their offense is stale. I too am worried about McCoy and the Eagles, but the backs that were left and hovering around the 35-40 rankings were all backups or question marks such as Ronnie Brown and Matt Forte. Moreno is also kind of worrying but the alternatives didn't seem too great, and the expert analyses I've read from ESPN and NFL.com seem hopeful for him.
I figure I got rather lucky with Brees and Moss as 12 and 13, my mocks all had me ending up with Manning and Fitzgerald. Dallas Clark is of course a great value as well but it looks like the consensus is that my round 3/4 picks were not as solid as they could be and that my late round picks were neither risky nor rewarding.

Too high for McCoy and Moreno, especially Moreno, slightly overrated back. Also with a 12/13 pick I'd have gone for a RB somewhere there since you know you wont get one til later (which made you pay the price a bit). I wish I had the full draft list so I co uld see who was left on the board during your picks but Brees is gosu at #12, Dallas Clark is also an amazing grab at 61st. Assuming Vernon Davis wasn't still on the board.
I'd say its an ok pick but if you don't get good production from your RB's you're done in fantasy. McCoy is on the eagles team that will pass the hell out of the ball, and Denver is screwed in general.

Moreano will probably break 1,000 and hit maybe 6 tds. He's still gonna lose a chunk to Buckhalter but it's not a committee by any means.

Concern there is more about the team blowing. Daniels has chased every talented guy out of Denver. He's getting 8 in the box all day because no one respects Orton or those receivers. Royal was born out of Marshall being awesome. He's an ok #2, that's it.
Def post your waiver wire/FA list. Probably time to go fishing for a rookie RB. People have been saying Forsett might emerge from Seattle. Less than ideal situation, but better than what you got.

Brees was a great move at 12, but you should have followed it up with a RB at 13. You'll still get a top tier WR in the next round. I feel like you went unnecessarily WR-heavy.
