There were a sick amount of deals on Steam, most of them below the $10 mark, with quite a few of them below $5. Still potentially a couple hundred bucks, and overkill for sure, but if the deal is good enough, most of us can't resist. I know I still have a stack of PS2 games I've never played, that I picked up at crazy prices over the years (Dragon Quest VIII for $10?! It just came out a month ago!). Edit: He also picked up the ID super pack (23 games) and the Unreal pack (5 games). So cuts out most of the glut. | ||

However, the problem is that you need a quad core to get anything over 30 fps in GTA4. For whatever reason Rockstar decided to make the most CPU intensive game ever which is it didn't have to be if it wasn't just a cheap port of the console versions (I think PS3 has like 7 processors or something crazy). | ||

These large-scale open world games rape memory and a good CPU. | ||
