It's been a bit of downtime... but soon enough the GosuCoaching Premiere League will be starting up again! I was tired of a bunch of small team leagues that didn't have the best teams or the best players, so I thought to myself "I'm going to host the best damn team league yet!" I'd like to think the GCPL accomplished just that. Last season, FnaticMSI took down team Dignitas in the Grand Finals. Who's going to win Season 2?
Wanna check out the VOD? Watch it on GosuCoachingTV!
The league will once again feature eight of the best teams out there. Stay tuned over the next two weeks or so for details and an official announcement of the league and how you can get your team involved!

Just wondering if any qualifiers will be held similar to last season? Will the lower placed teams get replaced by new ones? Should be exciting either way~
|
More details in the next week or so! There will be open spots for teams, however.

Any casting for amateur commentators? ;D By the way, great work. SC2 is nothing without you~

I guess Team Liquid is not participating? Looking forward to it nonetheless.

Recently, Xeris made his first appearance as a SC2 pro-gamer as the Fnatic's ace in their EGMC match against Complexity gaming. I took the opportunity to inteview Xeris about his + Show Spoiler +narrow defeat by CoL. CatZ
Thank you for taking time from your busy schedule as the admin of NASL and CSL, the manager of team Fnatics, and now Fnatic's ace player for this interview.
My pleasure. I am glad to have an opportunity to reach out to my legions of fans.
What was going through your mind when you saw Catz' hatchery in your base?
I knew he was gonna do it. I had studied CatZ for weeks during the NASL and knew that he likes to cheese against a stronger opponent. My only goal was not to die to hatch in my base. I succeed and I was happy. Unfortunately, he decided to cheese again while I was planning my ceremony.
In game 2, he done it again, this time with added drone rush, but you survived with some nice micro and crisis management. Do you felt safe and ahead?
I did, but I was greedy and double expo'd. I figured he'd take the gold and macro, but instead he went for a zergling/roach all-in. I guess CatZ knew he couldn't play a macro game against me, so I lost.
Do you think if you did not delay your Stargate tech, you'll have taken the series?
I lost the series fair and square, even if all CatZ did was cheesing. Next time I will not disappoint Fnatic when I am called upon.
Thank you for this interview. Do you have any shoutouts?
I want to thank reddit and teamliquid, whom always supported NASL and never complained about our mistakes. I want to reassure all my fans that unlike iNcontroL, I can easily handle all these roles I have taken upon. Things are easy when you know how to manage your time well.

I really hope Empire is in this again! Happy, Kas, Nerchio and Beastyqt are all uber good. With a lineup like that, they'll be really tough to beat lol.

I hope fxopen gets a shot at this! It be interesting to see how a centralised gstl team would do compared to a western multinantional team like fnatic.
