JD doesnt lose to some random noob like ssak or classic early in the tournament. NEVER. He only exits as the champion or Ro8/Ro4 when he is too tired of winning already and wants to give new kids or retiring players a chance.
Now you know. Did you know it's possible to be a Jaedong fan without dissing Flash? You're not even correct, Jaedong has been eliminated by the likes of Han and Backho before.
Both players are extraordinary but shit happens to everyone.

I find it sort of amusing that Flash having a 73% year (79% before these recent struggles, though) and winning an MSL title is what constitutes "struggling" for Flash. I mean, I know what you mean with his recent streak of losses in Proleague, but I still find the whole thing amusing.

Thats the problem when someone sets himself up on an impossible to maintain platform (like Flash in 2010). The guy just won yet another MSL and people are saying his period of dominance is over. Just shrug and move on.

I think it's hard to call what happened in 2010 Jaedong "standing toe-to-toe" with Flash, since he lost 3/4 Bo5s in the finals they played. If he'd split the finals, I think you would have an argument, but he didn't. He lost three straight after the one that he won, and all three were convincing wins from Flash.

Most importantly, in terms of Bonjwa, if one is not alone up there or if there is even the slightest doubt or reservation about one's claim to Bonjwa, he is not Bonjwa. Ma Bonjwa was. ... Wait, how can you call 2010 a slump when he made it to four finals? And how does Jaedong have the winningest record when he's ~4% behind Flash? Unless you just mean sheer quantity of wins, in which case he's just 40 wins ahead, which isn't significant at all considering Jaedong's headstart.

No, I mean I think that you read what I wrote, misunderstood what I was saying, and started tilting at windmills.
Edit: Since I doubt you're going to actually take a stab at answering, what I was saying was that the lead that Jaedong has is an insignificant one given the extra year of playing time that he has. I was not disputing the fact that 441 is indeed more than 411, but whether that was significant.

LMAO JD's slump? He made more starleague finals in 2010 than he did in 2008 or 2009. And how exactly is losing 3 consecutive finals to Flash considered "staying right on top with him?" JD's winningest record is a career achievement. Only Flash's 2010 period of dominance is in discussion and in this regard Jaedong was nowhere near Flash."JD always has a good chance of beating Flash" is true now in 2011. It was patently false in 2010 after the NATE MSL. 9-3 in Starleague finals speaks for itself, and most of those games weren't even close. Get real the only doubt or reservation is in your fanboy mind.

You just hate JD and want to diminish his accomplishments. Is it Jaedong's fault that he started earlier than Flash? If we factor this "ifs" and "thens" as you seemingly want to, then why not just go all in and claim Jesus would be the greatest BW player ever if he played. Are you laughing now?
