Most likely options are Khaldor, MrBitter, Gretorp, Apollo, casters that don't have other major commitments (that we know of at least). As an active viewer of Mr.Bitter he does have many commitments back in Atlanta, such as his lovely girlfriend Kani(i hope that's how you spell it), as well as his job of landlording, his 12 weeks show, his integral in the VT community, his stream, and more. He would obviously be a great caster for the GSL, but I am not 100% positive that is where his feelings lie. I want to be known that I am not speaking for Ben, and this is not his opinion, this is just my opinion based on what I have seen of him. In my opinion Khaldor would do a fantastic job, as well as gretorp who has gone a long way as a caster since the NASL was introduced, Apollo is strong as well, especially when paired with a strong caster. I feel as if a Khaldor +Wolf casting duo would be great to watch. EDIT: I thought of an idea, and how about AskJoshy? I feel as if he's a good caster and could be paired well with wolf.

Just as it's a place for players to break into Code S and achieve superstardom, it may also be the place to discover new casting talent. More to the point, popular casters in the West already have a lot of commitments and the Code A salary is not exactly attractive. Big-name casters are pretty much all committed to growing the foreign scene, they can't do that in Korea. There's plenty of talented casters out there that deserve a shot to grow their popularity amongst a more hardcore viewerbase, that don't already have a big fanbase. You really jump around here, and while I agree with much of what you say, I will say I think you have a bit of a 1 dimensional attitude. To you, going to cast Code A means giving up basically the rest of your livelihood and taking a job in Korea, casting, and supporting your family through that, which I understand, obviously you have certain commitments. For many others, its an opportunity to spend a few months living and working in a foreign country with an amazingly unique and rich culture as well as unreal cuisine, in an industry to love, getting a taste of what can only be considered the Mecca of Starcraft; its not about the money. Frankly I'm amazed more popular people haven't jumped at the idea, obviously its a big step to go out to Korea, and some people have specific loyalties or commitments to building the foreign scene, but this isn't a 5 year sentence, its a sick opportunity. tldr; perhaps casting in Korea is a young man's game, as old and bitter as Artosis sounds sometimes xD

Hit the nail right on the head. I hope to Adebisiiiii casting a Code A season or 2 soon.

Mr. Bitter would be "ok," but I don't know if he's ready for that big of a stage yet. He seems comfortable talking to a smaller audience. Again: Apollo! His accent was soooooooo soothing at DH. And he had great game knowledge. He kept up with Day[9] perfectly.

About the how the job pays, yeah I'm sure like many things it's probably negotiable and thus they can't reveal how much pay the is. I'm sure it's a range though. But not too much leverage on our side that's for sure.

Hopefully, we can use this opportunity to find new casters, instead of watching the same ten or twelve. It would be cool to have more high quality casters on the market, IMO. Knowledge is irrelevant, and besides Wolf is far more analytical than he is play-by-play. TB's full time job is his YouTube channel, where SC2 isn't the main view generator, there's no way in hell he'd go. It seems that MrBitter has commitments as well. Good casters are very difficult to find. I'm personally hoping for Apollo. Something about his accent...

I know that due that i wouldnt even consider going if i were a caster.

Code A is a "job" for those who can afford to take it and don't have a lot to lose. The pay sucks, you have to pay for your flight there, accomodation if you can't get in the GOM house (and if you can, you are staying with like 10 other guys which for some is not preferable), there is a massive language barrier and it's a lot of work for minimum compensation. More popular people haven't jumped on it precisely BECAUSE they have specific loyalties and commitments. Code A is best suited to bachelors with nothing tying them down. You can't support a family on "love" for Starcraft alone so for many of us, even considering Code A would be ridiculously irresponsible. Trying to paint it as a lack of commitment to the scene rather than a realistic, sensible decision to not do something rash and impractical, is fairly silly.

Sc2 casting should be more excitement based, that is why we watch sports. To share the emotions, passion and fun that comes along with it. Of course we do need logic and basic knowledge about the game, but still - we need more passion. The 2 mentioned above really bring that to the game (even my girlfriend sometimes watches final events or big games with me) For single handed casting - i see no place just for analytical casting. Of course, there are ppl on the world that will learn smth or get more knowledge about the game and will enjoy that even more, but for newcomers and those without any sc2 experiance it is usually unwatchable. And yeah - perfect combo is when caster that brings passion to the game is supported with the one with knowledge. Ps. GL Khaldor in Korea :D
