First. Two years ago my mom got me a monitor for like 200 bucks. 18.5", 1440*900, rotating.
She just got a really nice 1080p monitor for herself, and then complained the resolution was so high so she couldn't see :/ And then this degrades into about how I'm not thankful, and about how I shouldn't want a better monitor than this, even though I was going to buy it with my own money.
meh.
Where should I look for cheap plane tickets. Because I'm having a surgery this summer, and going to college next we need to find a good vacation place to go. We live in CA. Any general ideas. I think the price range for plane tickets is 600> (both ways) Also it will happen in the next 1-2 weeks, so a ton of planning can't be required.
Also, I just ordered
1) a bowtie 2) steelseries earbuds 3) a mousepad
And the keyboard (blackwidow) will arrive friday

My father bought a really large television screen for himself (because apparently, he likes watching the news in HD).
Unfortunately, the width/size was too big for him. He has a condition called "lazy eye" (either this:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strabismus or the other one). Prevents him from actually moving his eyes or giving him peripheral vision.
So while his condition is not amusing (He has to get surgery to keep his eyelids up otherwise his eyelids remain shut and he can no longer see), it is amusing to hear him bitch about how he has to swivel his head left to right to see the edge of the television screen.
That or sit really, really far away.
