Welcome to my blog, Cheesing My Way Up!
This blog follows my journey from the bottom of bronze, and hopefully till the end (plat/diamond) where I will reach my goal.
The twist is that I will strictly be using nothing but cheese builds, and nothing else. These builds could be.
The ones i'm not sure are "technically cheese have question marks at the end" if you have any new forms of cheese that aren't here, tell me and I'll try them!
Terran: Planetary rush SCV RUSH 2 Rax Proxy 2 rax all in
Protoss: Tower rush Fast dts? 2 gate proxy
Zerg: 6 pool
8 pool? same thing as 6 pool but with spine vs z.
Don't know many other's.
I'll primarily be using the 6pool/tower rush/2 rax all in builds, but i'll alternate and post results as each build as I start! Suggestions are welcome.
Next post will be soon.

Protoss Cheese: - Photon Cannons are buried in the ground. They are not towers. No one calls it a tower rush. It is called a cannon rush and there are multiple ways to do it:
BOSS Cannon Rush: Easily the best kind if executed properly. Look up the thread if you want to know what it's all about. I am not linking to it. Doesn't work against Zerg.
Hidden Cannon Rush: Hope to sneak a probe in-base and build cannons before you are discovered. Works with varying effectiveness. Least effective against Zerg.
Low Ground Cannon Rush: Build cannons safely at the bottom of someone's ramp and then run your probe up to provide vision for the cannons. Works as long as the Probe stays alive or can build something on the high ground. CombatEX uses this one a lot. Effective against Zerg too.
- Fast DTs works against everyone but not always against Terran. Probably best against Protoss, but can work well against a Zerg with no Lair.
- Proxy Gateways works with varying effectiveness depending on how much attention your opponent pays to the proxy and how much money you dump into it. There is a BOSS version too.
- Fast/Proxy Void Rays works against Zerg if you can catch them early enough and off guard. Costs enough though that the Zerg could just kill you before your Void(s) do(es) any major damage.
Do not call it a tower rush. Also learn proper grammar, spelling, and punctuation to better serve your blog readers.

tower rush lol. Go more for like 3/4/5 rax stim all in with your scvs or 4 gate or 6 pool. a little more robust and you will get above bronze.
|
|
3 rax is really famous, i think cloak banshee is really strong with the current metagame, with all the 1/2/3 gate expands. also if you 6 pool against terran you need to prevent the wall with 2-3 drones, got me once

what is a tower rush? I am really confused, but best of luck to you.

I'd be more interested if you were a Bronze level player that worked with volunteers from this blog to reach plat/Diamond :X
|
Anyone can work there way up to plat with practice..but can anyone do it with just cheese?
|
I hope this helps. It's probably the most in-depth guide to cannon rushing you'll ever find. You are also motivating me to create another account on SC2 primarily for cheesing.

http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=194643 Of course it can be done, you just have to be creative sometimes and know when to transition into the next phase of the cheese.
Marine+scv all-in thor rush (+scv [drop]). Roach+Speedling allin Baneling Bust 3RR, 5RR, 7RR (<--These DEMOLISH lower level players) Void Ray rush phoenix rush 4-gate all-in
