so my 21st birthday is coming up and for some reason my parents seem to think this is a big deal?!? they want me to decide what i want to do for it but I really dont have any good ideas.
im not an overly adventurous type so its been difficult for me to choose where i want to go or what i want to do. so i thought id ask TL for some suggestions. it has to either be something i can do in the UK and if its just a site seeing trip it can be as far as America or similar.
the real question is, how does hotbid feel about random people turning up at his house? and does it help if i bring food?

For my 21st I spent the day working on a late uni assignment and the night also working on a late uni assignment.

i guess you could say this is TRULY your coming of age day as you can now drink without restrictions .
as for where to go, i mean, i think everyone here on TL who hasn't gone to Korea before, wants to. It's the beating heart of SC. Plus, when i turn 21, im going to do that.
congratz though!

Clearly you've never been to ye good olde England. Brits seem to drink without any sort of restriction from around the age of 14

On my 21st birthday I simply bought some weed, played some BW and watched some TV

Us Dutchies have beer and mild-alcoholic drinks legalized from 16 and up. Whiskey etc is 18+

I was alone for my 21 birthday, my girlfriend had just left me and I found myself in a crackhouse. I then watched someone OD and die on heroine and alcohol.
Pretty much anything you chose to do will be better than my 21 birthday. Cheers mate =)
More ontopic, you should just organize some sort of party with close friends. If your parents want to give you something, take cash.

Then what does Challenge 21 scheme mean? You must be 18 years old in order to buy alcohol and you need to show your ID, but if you look like 21+ years old, you don't have to show your ID or what? I don't get it. :D
