I'm Wolfie and I'm trying to get over my ladder fright. So here's one of the games I played, for you guys. Read the first blog post for info on what I'm doing here.

VOD on Blip.tv (I wish I could embed the video here)
The first game in this trial is a win for me. So unfortunately I'm not able to analyze the video as much as I'd want. But there's a decent amount of stuff right here.
What Happened?
The first thing I notice is the second pylon gets late again. This really shouldn't happen. If it goes down after the gas finishes, it's late. It was late again. Another supply block happens with the third pylon. *sigh*
I wanted to expand pretty early on, since I started floating money. I didn't have the guts, though, because the zerg was only in one base, so I was expecting a strong 1-base push. I noticed my scouting probe getting taken out, so I knew something happened, but didn't really react to it that much. He was pushing out with 8 roaches against my 2 zealots, 2 sentries and 6 stalkers. At the time, however, he had 11, and more on the way, and I feel like if he would have gathered everything and just committed, he would've done a lot of damage, but he just turned away. Because he turned away, I dared to take my expo, since I guessed he wouldn't attack me any time soon.
All this time I was worried about his expansions. Did he have a hidden base somewhere? So I tried to scout one, but he didn't have one. Since I was on two bases, and he was on only one, I figured that I had a good chance to just kill him. I moved out with a stalker heavy ball and he left once I arrived to his newfound expansion.
What Were My Greatest and Worst Things In the Game?
I'm very proud of my scouting in this game, but the floating minerals were embarrassing. I knew during the game that they were floating, but not by as much as they did.
What Could've Made Things Go The Other Way?
I was floating a lot of money at times, because I had only four gates and a robo. I sometimes do this - forget to build enough production to saturate two bases. Also, I only had 37 probes on two bases, which is too few for two bases. I often forget to build more probes once I've saturated one base.
The zerg didn't float much money, but he had only 19 drones on his one base all this time (he got 20+ once he expanded). So if the zerg just would've droned up properly and expanded in a timely fashion, he could've killed me pretty easily, thanks to my poor production.
